Just another day running 100.000 sim backtests on NFL and NBA to map out the best numbers. We do this to verify everything that goes into the main sim at @LazyEdgeSports. When looking at sims study their brier correctness and look at how they do in backtests. If they just use ai and nothing else they will lose over time simple ai on this year is not good enough. Has to be tested on every single factor over time or you run risks of inaccurate data.

New live engine core is loaded for @LazyEdgeSports NFL, bringing more situational knowledge along with speed upgrades and fixes. The pregame sim upgrade for NFL is wrapping now too with some new looks to it.
NBA got a couple of large upgrades today on smaller factors, but they matter enough in close games that it should shape a better pregame.
With no games yesterday we took advantage and backtested 10 years of NBA and 8 years of NFL against all the new upgrades.
