Transport Minister @byrathi_suresh said average fare hike would be 23% for KSRTC & 33-35% for BMTC.
In Bengaluru, BMTC's minimum fare has been increased from Rs 6 to Rs 10, while maximum fare has gone up from Rs 35 to Rs 45. @KSRTC_Journeys @BMTC_BENGALURU

A bus fare hike in Karnataka is inevitable. Revised rates to be announced on November 4 after a meeting of senior officials& heads of the four RTCs.
The minister said fares had been increased only once in the past 11 years, while diesel prices, vehicle maintenance & operating costs had risen significantly, making it difficult to run transport corporations.
He said govt reimburses 100% of fares for women travelling under Shakti scheme & scheme has not caused financial difficulties for the corporations.
A committee has recommended a substantial fare hike, but implementing it fully would burden passengers. Hence, govt plans a phased increase. Karnataka's bus fares remain lower than those in neighbouring states.

When someone commits a heinous crime, the first response should be empathy & an attempt to understand the larger problem. Not finding a convenient scapegoat in cinema.
It is becoming increasingly clear that your concern is not for the victims or their families, but that you're using a horrific tragedy as a dirty excuse to settle your personal scores.
This is especially directed at those failed frustrated jobless male/female actors, few directors, producers & parasites, who suddenly appoint themselves as social reformers whenever an opportunity arises to take a dig at someone else's work.
A tragedy deserves empathy 🙏, not opportunism. Learn the difference.

జనసేన పార్టీ బలపడకూడదన్న కుట్రలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు గారికి గానీ, మంత్రి నారా లోకేష్ గారికి గానీ ప్రమేయం ఉంటుందని నేను అనుకోవడం లేదు.
అయితే, టీడీపీ పార్టీ మీద అభిమానంతోనో, తమ స్వార్ధం రాజకీయ ప్రయోజనాల కోసం సీట్లు సాధించుకోవాలన్న తపనతోనో కొందరు టీడీపీ సీనియర్ నాయకులు, కార్యకర్తలు కూటమి ధర్మానికి తూట్లు పొడుస్తున్నారన్నది మాత్రం వాస్తవం.
విశాఖపట్నం తూర్పు నియోజకవర్గంలో జనసేనకు ఆరు సీట్లు కేటాయించాల్సిన పరిస్థితుల్లో కేవలం రెండు సీట్లు మాత్రమే ఇవ్వడం, ఆ రెండు స్థానాల్లోనూ జనసేన నాయకులకు కాకుండా ఇతరులకు అవకాశం కల్పించడం తీవ్ర రాజకీయ తప్పిదం. అంతేకాదు, కూటమి విజయానికి, జనసేన బలోపేతానికి అహర్నిశలు కృషి చేసిన నిజమైన జనసైనికులను పక్కన పెట్టడంలో టీడీపీ ఎంపీ, ఎమ్మెల్యేల కంటే జనసేన ఎమ్మెల్యేల పాత్ర కూడా ఉందన్నది బాధాకరమైన వాస్తవం.
