Finally crashes on the couch

Will likely drink until he falls asleep among the books, on the floor in front of the couch.

He misses Crowley so much it hurts. He can't work right now, and even if he wanted to read any of the books spread out around him, he probably couldn't. He picks up the tumbler of whiskey and sips at it, leaning against the couch.

The setback to his ordeal? He occasionally gets the memories of his vessel, which triggers migraines. The memories are every bit as bad, if not worse than his hunts of the past. War.

“Love you too Morningstar.” Sarcasm at its finest. “Go back to your nest.”

Whips his head about to face him, finger pointing at him as he flares. “Don’t you dare! You already fucked up once!”

Is still ignoring him. As grateful as he is for the gesture of finding a suitable vessel, and bringing him back. The vessel is still his son.

“An he’d be right. Cas was under strict instructions to keep this quiet.” He takes his ball cap off and runs his fingers through almost shoulder length hair. “Damn Idjit may of done more damage than we initially thought. But it worked in bringing me back.”

“We have lost far too many because of it.” He tries not to look sad.

He /didn’t/ jump. At all. “A little warning!” He closes the book he was looking through and looks at @RIGHTEOUSVICE

“There is a reason why we don’t. Most non-humans will turn on you the moment we are no longer useful, at least in my long experience.” He lets out a sigh.

“Ya should, cause there is very few people, or… other beings? I actually trust.” He isn’t quite sure how to classify Gabriel, he isn’t the usual creature he hunts.

Puts a hand over his mouth. He hadn’t been aware of any of this. “I am going to hang you by your balls, Cas!”

Thanks to @wingd_curiosity he is back, albeit younger, but at least he ain’t dead. Hardly his fault the vessel is younger, stares at Cas.

“If you feel they need to know, go for it.” Cas and him never really discussed it.

“You ain’t a Devil. So no. Far as I’m concerned, you’re one of the good ones.”
