Here’s return-to-play timelines from my greatest expert on these injuries & recoveries. Cason Wallace labrum tear: “Approximately five months, even though it’s non-shooting shoulder.” On JDub’s fibula/ankle dislocation: “More complicated bc weight-bearing joint being dislocated. Fibula fracture less of an issue. May miss rest of season w/outside chance ready for playoffs - but doubt they’d push him given his history.” —- This info is not me speculating. It’s from veteran expert who works daily w athletes w these types of injuries. 🙏 to two impeccable guys & first class #Thunder organization.

Best studio show in CFB: Monday’s #SEC This Morning. Comprehensive 3 hours of content … exceptionally well-produced w/elite analysis & entertainment, sans bias. Burns & Doering combine loads of logic w/a mixture of consistent accuracy, insight & rare chemistry. Carry on!

🙏 up JDub. Ramifications could be scary. @okcthunder brass the best. But …

It was on the NBA end. Fixed midway thru 1st. #ThunderUp

Anyone having trouble getting Thunder game on Thunder+? We are. @okcthunder #Thunder

How much has college football changed in past few years? A booster calls out his team’s loss “unacceptable.” And it’s important enough that networks & media outlets include it in their first paragraph recap of the game. Yes, it’s a billionaire booster but you get the point.

Think hiring right coordinators is important? Oregon was title contender w Will Stein as its 3-yr offensive coordinator. Now biggest disappointment in CFB. Just fired Stein’s replacement mid-season Year 1 as Kentucky has one loss under its first year HC.

Behind Fasusi I’d rate Mateer & @PeytonBowen10 tied for 2nd best/most impactful performances. PB has played at an All-America level all season. Of OU’s 3 highly recruited Denton signees (Peyton & brother Eli Bowen & Jackson Arnold) they hit on 2 of the 3. The strikeout with the QB was a killer on the field … & on the roster as Dillon Gabriel was urged out (Dec ‘23) & found success on the field & with a huge upgrade in OC at with how OU had replaced the under appreciated performance & Nov ‘23 departure of one Jeff Lebby to MSU.

As good as @OU_Football’s D & Mateer were in Starkville … after isolating #56 Sunday morning on every play, the #Sooners’ best performance & MVP was @Michael_fasusi7. First time I’ve ever felt an OL was the best/most consistently impactful player on the field. But the indisputable upgrade at LT was remarkable. Made it look simple and easy.

Being an @OU_Football fan is not for the faint of heart. #Sooners win at Miss St.

Beers briefly had possession of the pass in the end zone before the defender made contact. Should’ve been a TD. Or at least reviewed. At least that’s one man’s opinion … #Sooners 20-17, 4th.

BTW … Denver was not too spiffy itself that first 24 mins.

After a sublime season-opening performance in San Antonio the #Thunder stumbled to arguably its worst half in memory. One wisecrack in our group said OU fans would have booed them as they headed to the halftime break. Still, down just 4. Expecting a 15-pt win!

Even better than workmanlike win over hated Spurs was SGA to NBC after game: “This group is hungry. Group wants more; not satisfied, more so than in past. I can feel it in the building. Want more. Better every day.” Beautiful start. I’ll say again. If healthy, #Thunder 🏆

ELEVEN players for @okcthunder have scored. 59-33, 2:47, 2nd qtr. #Thunder

It took the announcers till 5:30 left in 2nd qtr to mention Wemby’s offensive struggles - “he’s 0 for 7 from the field.” #Thunder
