As part of the #JusticeForGirls Campaign, we held a powerful #EndFGM Fashion Show in Nairobi, bringing together government officials, UN representatives, embassies, & CSOs. Through fashion & collective action, we raised our voices to #endFGM & protect every girl’s rights.
With support from @GermanyinKenya, we launched the #BornPerfectCaravans project in #Galmudug through a stakeholder engagement on media production to raise awareness of & support the implementation of the #anti_FGM law. The event was officiated by the Minister of Women & HRD.
Change begins within communities. Through #SASATogether, local activists, community leaders, & IAs in #Baidoa are facilitating community-led dialogues that challenge the continuation of #FGM & inspire collective action to #EndFGM. Thanks to @RESCUEorg & @Sweden for their support.
