I agree data centers should pay their fair share.
But NC House Republicans voted to table my amendment repealing incentives & sales tax exemptions for data centers.
They then got a fiscal note showing those policies would generate ~$50 million per year in state & local taxes.

The last-minute campaign spending by @senatorberger is absolutely off the charts.
Just through February 15, Phil Berger has spent $2.36 million on his campaign, while Sam Page has spent just $54,000 - a 43:1 ratio. And that doesn't even include the millions in outside dark money spending in the primary.
Some last-minute campaign contributions directly to Phil Berger: the CEOs of both the @ncchamber and @DukeEnergy following up the millions that both organizations have already contributed to those totally-not-coordinated-at-all dark money PACs.

Here’s a hot take. If you are a politician, and you are politicizing people’s pain due to a natural disaster and suggesting that rescue and recovery is a red or blue issue…there is a hot corner of hell for you.

That's a lot of words to say you still support Mark Robinson. #ncpol
In response to numerous media inquiries regarding the allegations against Mark Robinson, Hal Weatherman has issued the following statement:
“He should conclusively and quickly prove false the allegations against him. If he can prove this isn’t true and was fabricated to hurt him, he will win in a landslide. But if he fails to do so, he will lose, because the comments being attributed to him are highly disturbing. His entire campaign strategy should be focused on proving the allegations false. During this process I and the other Republican candidates need to stay focused on winning our own races.”

"I know I’m not a young man… I don’t speak as smoothly as I used to, I don’t debate as well as I used to, but I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong. And I know how to get things done. When you get knocked down, you get back up!" - President Biden
