THREE GREYHOUNDS KILLED AT THE CANNINGTON TRACK in WA LAST NIGHT
Racing at Mandurah and Cannington tracks in Western Australia must be suspended immediately. Ten greyhounds have now died on each track this year, with both now sharing first place for the most deaths on any track in the country (does not include greyhounds later killed in days or weeks after suffering injuries)
Footage below shows each of the falls. The first part shows 2 greyhounds falling - the greyhound in blue (no 4) was apparently not injured, all others were killed soon after.

Mandurah (WA) on Friday "Spooky Hook" suffered "a Left - Hindleg - Tarsal Fracture/Dislocation (Hock)". 90 days incapacitation if they don't kill him
The replay for this race (9) was quickly disappeared from the website and other platforms. If you have it, would be grateful if you could send.

For years, the NSPCA has fought to shield animals from the immense suffering inherent in the live export trade.
Today’s judgment from the High Court in Makhanda marks a crucial step forward in that fight.

🚨NEWS🚨
Live export horror for ~3,000 cattle stranded at sea for over 60 days now. Over 50 animals already dead. 140 calves born onboard, but many have disappeared. 💔🐄🚢
This is not an isolated incident, but it’s a devastating example why we must #BanLiveExport! 🚫

💔 Still stranded. Another 30 days at sea. The live export ship Spiridon II left #Uruguay for #Türkye with 2,900 cows, half of them pregnant. Two months later, they’re still trapped on board.
In that time:
🐄 58 cows have died
🐄 140 pregnant cows gave birth or lost their calves
🐄 50 calves are reportedly on board, the fate of the remaining 90 is unknown
Reports say dead bodies are still aboard, putrid and leaking, and feed is likely gone. The animals on board are likely suffering from exhaustion, heat stress, starvation, and disease in filthy conditions. Heartbreakingly, the ship is now turning back for another 30-day voyage back to Uruguay as it was blocked from unloading in Türkiye due to an administrative issue.
This is one of the worst live export disasters since MV Bahijah (2024) and MV Gulf Livestock 1 (2020). It’s a stark reminder that the barbaric live export trade must be banished to the history books of shame.
Together, we are urgently calling on the Turkish authorities to unload the animals to prevent further suffering.💔

NSW HORSE RACING UNDER REVIEW
MAKE A SUBMISSION ✍️
For the first time in over a decade, the NSW Thoroughbred Racing Act is under review. 🐎
This review will shape how horses are treated for years to come.
Racing NSW both promotes racing and regulates welfare— leaving horses at risk. Despite billions in profits, the industry still:
✅ Breeds more horses than it can rehome
✅ Uses cruel practices like whips, tongue ties and racing immature two-year-olds
✅ Hides deaths, injuries adn wastage behind closed doors
We cannot let the same system that causes harm continue to regulate itself. Welfare must be independent and put horses first.

WHERE'S THE DRAKE REPORT?
(Answer: NSW Govt won't publish it)
Still racing. Still suffering. Still hidden.
Dogs continue to be bred, raced, and injured, their lives constantly at risk in the greyhound racing industry and now the truth about their suffering is being hidden too.
The taxpayer-funded Greyhound Welfare and Integrity Commission (GWIC) has blocked the publication of details of deceased dogs from its public tracking portal, eTrac.
This means the public can no longer see which dogs have died, when, or why, shielding the industry from scrutiny.
Meanwhile, the long-awaited Drake Inquiry into the greyhound industry still hasn’t been released. The NSW Government continues to delay accountability while dogs continue to suffer behind the scenes.
Email your MP here and urge them to join the global phase-out of greyhound racing: bit.ly/49ntm5L

so many major injuries tonight at Sale (Vic). These sound like fractures but they are suddenly using the word "injury" instead. Shocking abuse of these greyhounds
"Stanley Staff" - a left foreleg radius/ulna injury. 90 days incapacitation if they don't kill him
"Tanner Bale" - a right hind leg hock injury. 90 days if they don't kill him
"Calimo" - a right hind leg hock injury. 90 days if they don't kill him. This was his first race back after a serious muscle injury in May
"Dr. Yellowstone" - a right hind leg hock injury. 90 days if they don't kill him

*FOOTAGE WARNING*
Let's bring back the ban on greyhound racing in Australia.

*** footage warning ***
NSW: Dubbo just now. This is "Zipping Largo", she is not yet 2 years old. There are children standing at the fence close by watching this happen (I have edited out).
GRNSW is responsible for the footage and for what happens in that footage. The censoring of footage by GRNSW is unpredictable, inconsistent and chaotic. The replay for this race is not currently available on the GRNSW website.
These images are further important evidence of a pattern of abuse inflicted on greyhounds in NSW on a daily basis. This pattern has become clearer through the footage, criticism & details I have posted over many months.
These images are further evidence of unsafe NSW tracks and the risks faced by greyhounds when running at Dubbo. I have regularly posted images and details of greyhounds falling and suffering injuries at the Dubbo track.
GRNSW claims to prioritise animal welfare. These images, and many others like them, do not support those claims. The safety of children exposed to animal suffering at these tracks is also deeply concerning.

"Slick Splits" apparently "cracked a scapula when hit in the catching pen" racing at Sandown (Vic) on Friday night. But he will be back out there again in a few months ready to crack more bones. He's already made some humans $282,670, but not enough for them
Owner: City/country (SYN)
Trainer: THOMAS DAILLY (ANAKIE)
Born: 14/09/2023
Prizemoney: $282,670

nothing currently mentioned in the post-race stewards' report: fasttrack.grv.org.au/RaceFie…
And note that on 3 November at the Meadows, "Slick Splits" collided several times with other greyhounds "causing Slick Splits to contact the inside running rail"

"Pink Frosting" looks like she's having a wonderful time trying to run on a fractured left scapula at Geelong (Vic). Dogs love to run, especially when their bones are broken. This was only her third race and in 28 days she'll be ready to go back out there and break some more bones

Gary Febey, Greyhound Racing Victoria, Hearing, 6 November 2025
"Mr Febey claimed the dog had a broken leg. Dr Cao could see no evidence of a broken leg and the dog was not in pain, distressed or injured in any other way. Mr Febey maintained that he wanted the dog euthanised. Given he was the owner of the dog, if he signed an Owner’s Request Form, the clinic was legally authorised to euthanise the dog. Bella was subsequently euthanised after Mr Febey signed the form"
