UJA is acting like Toronto just elected Pol Pot.
The election is over. The work is not.   UJA will continue to stand firmly with Toronto’s Jewish community, advocating for the safety, security, and future of Jewish life in our city.   Our community has made its expectations clear. Now, it’s time for Mayor-elect Chow and Council to deliver. We need meaningful action to confront antisemitism and ensure Jewish Torontonians can live safely and proudly in Toronto. Words are not enough.   Toronto’s Jewish community is a vital part of this city’s fabric, and we will remain proud, involved and resilient.   Our community has shown up, spoken out, and participated in the democratic process. The thousands who came together to make their voices heard have demonstrated the strength and determination of our community.   We will remain engaged. We will hold our leaders accountable. And we will not stop advocating for the action our community deserves.

What the hell happened here?
Bonnie Crombie was not the only former provincial party leader running for mayor tonight. Her Liberal predecessor Steven Del Duca is poised to stay mayor of Vaughan, while former NDP Leader Andrea Horwath is far behind in Hamilton so far. #onpoli

Following David Eby’s disastrous early election call, do you think Doug Ford calls an Ontario provincial election before the mandatory election day of April 12, 2030? #onpoli

Replying to @TheresaLubowitz
The most inconvenient truth for conservatives is that actually taking care of people is way cheaper than immiserating and incarcerating them, which is why this truth is suppressed with such violence and rage.

Re. Patty Politics: the owner of Fahmees is urging Torontonians to vote for Olivia Chow, calling her “the best mayor I’ve ever seen.”
Wouldn’t be a trip to #Scarborough without a stop at Patty King!
