What happens when the technology advances faster than our ability to comprehend it?

For your consideration...
ChatGPT has become an extraordinarily powerful tool, but its content management capabilities haven't kept pace with its intelligence or the volume of work its users are creating.
As someone with thousands of conversations, dozens of projects, and years of accumulated research and analysis, I'm increasingly encountering a fundamental problem: finding, organizing, maintaining, and reusing that intellectual work. Memory and Projects have been major improvements, but continuity across conversations, version management, and access to authoritative documents remain significant challenges.
The paradox is that AI is dramatically reducing the cost of creating knowledge without proportionately reducing the cost of managing it. As capabilities accelerate and content accumulates, the system can actually become more difficult to use effectively.
The next major opportunity for ChatGPT isn't simply greater intelligence. It's evolving from a conversational interface into a genuine AI-powered knowledge management system, where projects, research, documents, decisions, and conversations form a coherent, continuously accessible body of work.
ChatGPT is already transformative. Imagine how much more valuable it could become if it helped us manage everything it's helping us create.

Rick wasn't quite an anchor, wasn't merely a reporter, wasn't an economist, and wasn't a strategist selling a book. He became something closer to CNBC's human bond-market seismograph. Numbers came out at 8:30:00, Rick registered the earthquake at 8:30:03.
I have been there every step of the way for 30 years. Thank you and God Speed, sir.

Thesis: Every org was designed for a pre-AI economy. They were designed for a world in which human cognition was scarce, expensive, slow, difficult to scale, and often wrong! That paradigm is now obsolete. Same for most biz models. 1 of 2

That’s why an entire ecosystem of third-party tools exists just to extract Robinhood data.
Which is kind of hilarious when you think about it:
A modern fintech platform requiring archaeology tools to retrieve your own data.

The one-year remembrance is going to be hard on everyone in WNC. Please keep those who lost so much -- in many cases, everything -- in your thoughts and prayers 🙏
