Went to give BG3 a second try since I didn't really like the first playthrough, went to make a Paladin but realised I couldn't choose a god, a quick Google later it turns out in D&D paladins can be atheists and just believe in themselves really hard. Deleted. Awful setting.

Britain was very famously not Christian and in fact very pagan before the 7th century and even had a resurgence when the vikings invaded. Even now the majority of Brits are atheist so take your evangelist ass to America.
