CHINA'S H-6KG BOMBER SPOTTED WITH NEW ELECTRONIC JAMMING POD
China's H-6KG bomber has been spotted carrying a large electronic warfare pod resembling the RKZ930 series used on the J-16D electronic warfare jet.
The system could enhance the bomber's ability to disrupt enemy radar systems. Its operational status remains unconfirmed.

Ethiopia has received its first 12 Su-35 fighter jets from Russia. Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed also announced that the country will acquire four batteries of the S-400 long-range air defense system.
In a statement on his official social media account on October 28, 2026, Abiy Ahmed stated that the Su-35 fighter jets were delivered under a previously signed agreement with Russia.

The agreement builds on an earlier partnership announced by ICEYE and Nokia to develop secure satellite broadband solutions for government applications, including defence, border security & emergency response.

Saab and GA-ASI have successfully flight-tested the LoyalEye airborne early warning radar aboard the MQ-9B drone in California, demonstrating its ability to detect, track & classify airborne targets.

ALT SAAB & GA-ASI SUCCESSFULLY TEST LOYALEYE AEW ON MQ-9B Saab and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI) have successfully flight-tested Saab’s LoyalEye airborne early warning (AEW) radar integrated with the MQ-9B remotely piloted aircraft. The test, conducted at GA-ASI’s Desert Horizon Flight Operations Facility in Southern California, demonstrated the system’s ability to detect, track and classify airborne targets. Stakeholders observed its performance in real time during a representative operational scenario. The evaluation follows the system’s first flight in May 2026 and advances the development of unmanned AEW capabilities. Designed to operate independently or alongside crewed AEW&C aircraft, LoyalEye-equipped MQ-9B could provide persistent surveillance across large areas, extend operational reach and reduce aircrew exposure. The project reflects interest in unmanned platforms for airborne surveillance and early warning missions.

ASELSAN Isn’t Slowing Down: Backlog Surpasses $30 Billion for the First Time.
ASELSAN signed new contracts worth $14 billion in the first nine months of 2026, pushing its total remaining order backlog to a record $30.7 billion.
The milestone marks the first time in the Turkish defence giant’s history that its backlog has exceeded the $30 billion threshold, highlighting its continued growth in the global defence industry.
Ukraine may acquire a country-specific variant of the F-16 fighter jet.
Although the exact fleet size remains undisclosed, Ukraine operates a growing number of F-16 Fighting Falcons supplied by several partner nations, including Denmark, the Netherlands & Norway.
Belgium is also expected to contribute aircraft, although its deliveries have yet to be officially confirmed.
