Personally-- would've liked a #5 vs. #4 play-in game that Thursday with winner going into the lowest-seed for the best-of-three....but I like the idea of one-and-done semis AND final.

Bunch of shots, but nothing for Maryland on that major power play. Killed some time, though.

Holy crap, they finally called a penalty for ripping a guy's helmet off. Reset the clock.

ANES!! Crashing the net on a loose puck and it's 4-2 Maryland

Holy lord did they soak that end of the ice or what. Black Bears out there trying to help get all the water off the surface.

Through 40, the Black Bears are up 3-1. A big jolt after that media timeout and something that was definitely needed. Now, time to close it out.

Elmira gets one back after a turnover deep.

SALVATORE!! Cutting across the slot and it's 3-0 Maryland. Three goals in 39 seconds.

Don't know what was said on the media timeout, but it struck a nerve in the fellas.

RAI!! Just like that and the Black Bears are up 2-0!!

Puck rolling off blades, passes bouncing last minute-- puck luck not showing up so far for Maryland.

It's crazy for this guy to confuse Wade and Anes. Numbers aren't close, size isn't close, and it's not the first time this weekend he's done it.

Black Bears setting an early tone with the heavy line of Sweeney-Markarian-Deuling to start the game. Kade Kanaly appears to be getting into his first game of the season.

The Kanaly entry seems to be an input error, as he is no longer listed on the line-up on the NAHL site.
