This is my Real Vision journey.
It began back in 2009 when BBC2 aired Million Dollar Traders, a modern reboot of the famous Turtle Traders experiment. 8 ordinary people were given a crash course in trading and pitted against the markets, guided by a hedge fund professional. And there he was, @RaoulGMI, a blink and you miss it cameo.
Me being me, I decided that if this guy could teach 8 complete novices from all walks of life, then he was the guy who was going to teach me too.
For the next five years I tried to track him down, Googling Raoul Pal, following every breadcrumb, and along the way encountering Anton and Lex, but Raoul stayed elusive.

Demographics, debt, debasement. Three words that drive everything.
It starts with an aging population. Fewer workers means slower growth, so governments borrow to keep the economy moving. The debt keeps growing because the demographics leave them no other option.
That debt was never going to be paid back. So it gets managed instead... by debasing the currency. More money created every year, each unit worth a little less than the last. Slowly enough that most people never notice.
That is The Everything Code. Debasement sets the real hurdle rate for your money, and over the long run only two assets have cleared it... crypto and technology.
But thats only the first part of the story. The Exponential Age is where everything goes vertical at once. And the end state is The Economic Singularity, where everything changes.
I've never had all of it written down in one place before. Now it's in one book, out November 3rd.
