The more I read of the opinions of Air BnB property managers, the more I’m willing to just stay in a hotel. It’s was dope when it was more cost effective, but now it’s just slum lords trying to gauge the people that the app was originally developed to help.
Running the dishwasher and taking the trash out isn't hard. It's the courteous thing to do. Neither is allowed under this change. FWIW, running the dishwasher is so it's finished by the time the cleaners arrive and they can put things away. Don't be upset when you can't check in early, when there are clean dishes in the dishwasher the next time you stay somewhere, or when the cleaning fee (now part of the total cost) goes up because of this.
