‼️ MAKE SURE YOUR REFERENCE SHEET IS CONSISTENT FROM ALL ANGLES ‼️ Just a friendly reminder that when you commission an artist (any artist really) that the ref you provide us with is our blueprint. That means we do not know if some marking that’s not show in a specific way needs to look like that if it’s not clearly visible. Also (and this happens more than you should think) markings should be consistent all the way around the body. The amount of times I’ve run into markings moving up or down or directly changing placement from the front view to the back or side view is happening way too much. Please be sure to triple check that all your markings are aligned from all angles. That also means markings that are visible on the full body picture but missing from the headshot etc. If a certain marking is very specific from the side but not visible from the front or back be sure to have a special drawn out area of the specific marking if it’s very important to you. While you know your character and what it should look like, the artist you commission doesn’t and can only work from the information we are provided with. So please please do us a favor and get your refs updated or make sure they are 100% correct. It will save both you and any future artists a lot of trouble and stress. Thank you
