The major drawbacks in AI equities remains their financial concerns on buildout.
Hyperscalers are on track to spend over $7 trillion on data centers and AI between 2025 and 2030. While free cash flow is expected to stay negative into next year, so they are spending more than they earn.
Their funding is also getting harder to read; guarantees, off-balance-sheet deals and circular arrangements with "neocloud" providers can hide liabilities and blur who is carrying the risk. Nobody even knows when, or how much, this spending will pay back.
Markets repricing is already in play.

There's an important distinction in prediction markets that deserves more attention.
Onchain transparency and outcome accuracy are two different things.
A blockchain can provide an auditable record of transactions and settlement.
But consider a market asking whether a company will announce an acquisition before a certain date.
The blockchain cannot independently know whether the announcement happened.
Someone or something must bring the relevant information into the system, and the resolution process must determine how the market's rules apply to that evidence.
That's why oracles, verification mechanisms, clearly defined market rules, and dispute procedures matter.
The question isn't simply whether the result is recorded onchain.
It's whether the result was determined through a process participants can inspect and trust.
For prediction-market infrastructure like Predictor, this is one of the areas worth examining closely.
Transparency is valuable.
Credible resolution is essential.
And neither should be taken for granted.
