A major milestone for the Delhi Fire Service (DFS)!
For the first time in 84 years since its establishment (1942), a large-scale cadre expansion has been approved. With 2,345 new posts created under the Chief Minister's initiative, the total strength will increase from 3,096 to 5,441.
This will significantly strengthen rapid response and emergency rescue operations.
