Most Jews in the world today have no ethnic or racial connection to the ancient Holy Land.
Ashkenazi Jews come from a people in southern Russia called the Khazars, who lived near the Caspian Sea.
They were of Turkic and Mongol ancestry.
They were related to groups like the Hungarians, Bulgarians, Huns, and Tartars.
NOT THE JEWS OF ANCIENT JUDEA.
These warlike pagan Khazars converted to Judaism as a group in the 7th century.
The king converted, and many of his people followed.
Anyone can change religions.
Over the centuries, their descendants came to believe they were related to the ancient Israelites.
They accept the standard stories about those supposed ancestors without questioning them.
It doesn’t occur to them that the Israelite leaders were actually pharaohs and members of the Egyptian royal and priestly establishment linked to the cult of Aton.
They call themselves Jewish without really knowing what that originally meant.
This is no more logical than a Hottentot converting to Mormonism and then claiming to be a direct descendant of Joseph Smith.
To the religious mind facts don’t matter.
History be damned.

THE MODERN CHURCH HAS REVERSED THE BIBLE'S OWN RULES FOR INTERPRETING PROPHECY!
The Old Testament interpreted the TIME statements LITERALLY and the apocalyptic LANGUAGE FIGURATIVELY. Much of the modern Church does the exact OPPOSITE!
This chart exposes one of the greatest inconsistencies in modern eschatology. When the Old Testament prophets announced that God's judgment was "near," "at hand," "coming quickly," or "would not be delayed," those time statements meant exactly what they said. The judgments were approaching within the historical circumstances of the prophets and their contemporaries. Yet when those same prophets described the sun, moon, and stars going dark, the heavens being rolled up like a scroll, the earth shaking, or the LORD coming upon the clouds, they were employing figurative, apocalyptic language to describe God's historical judgments upon nations, kingdoms, and covenant peoples.
Consider Isaiah 13. God announced that the day of the LORD against Babylon was "near" and "close at hand" (Isa. 13:6, 22). He also described the sun, moon, and stars being darkened and the heavens and earth being shaken (Isa. 13:10, 13). Did the physical universe come to an end when Babylon was judged? Of course not! The cosmic language described the overthrow of a kingdom, while the nearness statements communicated the approaching historical judgment.
The same pattern appears in Isaiah 19, where the LORD comes riding upon a swift cloud in judgment against Egypt; Isaiah 34, where the heavens are rolled together as a scroll and the stars fall in connection with Edom's judgment; and Ezekiel 30–32, where the sun, moon, and stars are darkened in connection with Egypt's downfall. These were historical judgments, not the destruction of the physical universe.
NOW NOTICE HOW MODERN ESCHATOLOGY REVERSES THIS INTERPRETIVE PATTERN!
When Jesus employs the SAME prophetic language in Matthew 24:29–30—the sun darkened, the moon refusing its light, stars falling, and the Son of Man coming upon the clouds—many Christians suddenly insist that these descriptions MUST refer to the literal destruction of the physical heavens and earth and the end of world history.
But when Jesus declares that these events were "NEAR" and that "THIS GENERATION WILL BY NO MEANS PASS AWAY TILL ALL THESE THINGS TAKE PLACE" (Matt. 24:33–34), those same interpreters suddenly abandon the ordinary meaning of the time statements! "Near" becomes thousands of years away, and "this generation" is reinterpreted to refer to some distant generation rather than the one Jesus was addressing.
Think about the inconsistency:
In the Old Testament, the prophetic imagery is figurative, while the time statements are literal.
In much of modern New Testament eschatology, the prophetic imagery becomes literal, while the time statements become figurative or are stretched into an indefinite future!
BY WHAT CONSISTENT HERMENEUTICAL PRINCIPLE CAN WE JUSTIFY THIS REVERSAL?
Jesus did not invent a new prophetic vocabulary in Matthew 24. He employed the established language of Israel's prophets to describe the approaching destruction of Jerusalem, the judgment of the Old Covenant kingdom, and the vindication of His authority as the enthroned Son of Man.
Furthermore, Jesus explicitly declared that the destruction of Jerusalem would fulfill "ALL THINGS WHICH ARE WRITTEN" (Luke 21:20–22). His Olivet Discourse must therefore be interpreted in light of the Old Testament prophetic passages from which its language and imagery are drawn.
The prophets announced historical judgments using cosmic imagery, and Jesus did the same. The prophets declared that those judgments were near, and Jesus did the same. The difference is that Jesus identified the generation that would witness the fulfillment of His prophecy—and history confirms that Jerusalem and its temple were destroyed in AD 70.
The issue is not whether God is capable of literally destroying the physical universe. The issue is whether Scripture gives us the right to transform established prophetic imagery into literal astronomical predictions while simultaneously transforming clear time statements into references to events thousands of years beyond the lives of their original audiences.
WE MUST ALLOW THE OLD TESTAMENT TO INTERPRET THE NEW TESTAMENT—NOT REVERSE ITS ESTABLISHED PROPHETIC LANGUAGE TO PRESERVE A FUTURIST SYSTEM!
The cosmic imagery was figurative. The time statements were literal. The judgment was historical. And Jesus' promise concerning "THIS GENERATION" was fulfilled in AD 70.
The end Jesus predicted was not the end of world history, but the consummation of the Old Covenant age (Matt. 24:3, 34; Heb. 8:13; 9:26).

My goal at Pulpit & Pen all those years was to reform evangelicalism and foment ecclesiastical revolution.
Believing we had lost our way, I’ve spent twenty-five years diligently studying the Church Fathers, the Patristics, the Scholastics, the Reformers, and the Puritans.
These leaders lived during eras of anti-Jewish persecution, pogroms, and bitter religious rivalries. In their world and eras, hostilities between Jews and God’s real people, Christians, were palpable.
And yet, if you compiled a list of the Top 100 doctrinal concerns expressed by those theologians over the course of church history, “antisemitism” wouldn’t be on the list.
Not a whiff of outrage about it. Not a sermon of concern. Not a lecture given.
In fact, you’d find that virtually all of them would be condemned as “antisemites” by modern evangelicals. Their routine opinions on post-temple Judaism would drop the modern jaw.
And yet, we evangelicals are to believe in 2026 that “antisemitism” is some great sin and dire problem that the church must address and excise from our midst.
In fact, to listen to modern evangelical leaders, you’d think “antisemitism” was some grave error, some serious sin, worthy of mobilizing the religious establishment to eradicate it from the Body of Christ.
In the process, they condemn practically every historic Christian leader they’ve ever cited as an authority.
Meanwhile, evangelicals condemn this fake sin with an imprecise, ever-changing definition manufactured in the 19th century, redefined in the 20th century, and utterly meaningless in the 21st.
Along with bugbears like “toxic masculinity,” biblical patriarchy, xenophobia, “homophobia,” “transphobia,” and the cardinal sin of political incorrectness, aNtIsEMiTIsM is treated as some deep divine grievance.
This isn’t historic Christianity.
What we are experiencing is Post-War Liberalism and a pluralistic civil religion, only masquerading as Christianity. And it comes with its own commandments and verboten transgressions utterly unknown to our fathers.
By making “antisemitism” such a top concern, modern evangelical leaders are either more moral, righteous, and virtuous than Christians in ages past, or they’ve been “carried away captive by vain philosophy and empty deceit.”
Which is it?

Chronological note: The approximate intervals follow the prophetic chronology used in this article. Where a passage does not itself contain an explicit nearness declaration, the chart identifies the related prophetic passage rather than attributing its wording to the original text. The typological applications to AD 70 are interpretive connections, not additional Old Testament dates.
Explanation: The Old Testament prophets repeatedly announced God's approaching judgment upon historical nations using the language of cosmic de-creation, heavenly disturbances, divine cloud-coming, and the shaking of heaven and earth. Yet these descriptions were not fulfilled through the literal destruction of the physical universe. They communicated the overthrow of nations, kingdoms, and established political or covenantal orders through the language of prophetic judgment.
The chronological expressions accompanying these judgments are especially important. Ezekiel declared that the day was “near” and that God's words would no longer be postponed. Isaiah announced that the day of the LORD was “at hand” and that Babylon's time was “near.” Zephaniah declared that the great day of the LORD was “near” and hastening greatly. Obadiah similarly announced that the day of the LORD against the nations was “near.” These statements communicated genuine imminence to their original audiences, even when the accompanying descriptions employed highly figurative language.
The connections between Isaiah 19 and Ezekiel 30–32, and between Isaiah 34 and Obadiah 1:15, are particularly instructive. Isaiah 19 depicts the LORD riding upon a swift cloud in judgment against Egypt, while Ezekiel describes the day of clouds and the darkening of the heavenly bodies in judgments against that same nation. Likewise, Isaiah 34 describes the heavens being rolled together like a scroll and the heavenly host falling in judgment against Edom, while Obadiah announces that the day of the LORD was near. These cross-references establish the recurring prophetic vocabulary without requiring that the respective oracles were delivered at precisely the same time.
This established Old Testament pattern provides the interpretive framework for Matthew 24:29–34. Jesus employed the same imagery of the darkened sun, the moon withholding its light, falling stars, shaken heavenly powers, and the Son of Man coming upon the clouds. He then supplied His own chronological markers: “It is near—at the doors!” and “This generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.”
Just as the Old Testament judgments were genuinely near while their cosmic descriptions were figurative, the judgment Jesus announced was near to His own generation. The Roman-Jewish War of AD 66–70, culminating in the destruction of Jerusalem and its temple, fulfilled His prophecy of judgment upon the Old Covenant order.
The prophetic imagery was figurative. The historical judgments were real. The declarations of nearness were literal. Matthew 24:29–34 follows the same prophetic pattern, culminating in AD 70.

A MANIFESTO FOR THE CHRISTIAN REPUBLIC
THE THEOLOGICAL ANNIHILATION OF SOCIALISM AND ZIONISM, THE DEFEAT OF ISLAMIC ENCROACHMENT, AND THE RECONQUEST OF THE AMERICAN NATION
For too long, American Christians have been told that another election will save the Republic, that Jesus endorsed socialism, that supporting modern Israel's military campaigns is a biblical obligation, and that Christians must remain passive in the face of injustice and tyranny.
I reject all three theological errors.
In this extensive manifesto, I challenge Christian socialism, dispensational Zionism, and absolute pacifism from Scripture. I demonstrate how the Old Testament prophets, Matthew 24, and Revelation establish that Christ's coming in judgment and Armageddon were fulfilled in AD 66–70—not events awaiting another catastrophic Middle Eastern war.
I also address constitutional government, national sovereignty, foreign interventionism, monetary reform, immigration, cultural preservation, Christian education, the family, lawful self-defense, and the restoration of accountable local institutions.
The solution is not another political messiah, another prophetic war, or another generation of Christians waiting to escape the world.
JESUS CHRIST IS ALREADY KING.
The Old Covenant age has ended. The New Jerusalem has come. Christ's everlasting kingdom is established, and the nations are called to acknowledge His reign.
The prophetic war is over. Our responsibilities are not.

First, his name isn’t “Yeshua.” Like the Bible He preached from in the synagogue, His name is Greek. Nobody called Him “Yeshua.”
Secondly, the Old Testament belongs exclusively to the religion of Christ. He is the object of worship in the Old Covenant.
Calling anything you find there “Jewish” is untoward and vulgar.
Third, God has ONE holy nation and ONE special people, and it’s the church (1 Peter 2:9-10).
Everyone who trusts in Christ is the Israel of God, and no one else (Galatians 6:15-16).
By virtue of the blood of Christ, and Christ Alone, is one brought into Israel (Ephesians 2:12-13, 19).
Only Christians are united to Abraham, and unbelieving Jews are cut off (Romans 11:17).
Christians only are the “circumcision of God,” the sign of His Covenant. Unbelieving Jews are the uncircumcised (Philippians 3:3).
Unbelieving Jews, very emphatically, are NOT Israel (Romans 9:6-8).
Only Christians are Abraham’s true sons and REAL heirs of Abraham’s promises (Galatians 3:29).
Now, get off my lawn.

Do you remember Section 224, and later Section 219, of the 2027 defense bill? The scandal was that the Israel Lobby talked the U.S. House of Representatives into **giving** Israel co-ownership of our future war tech, the stuff that will be used for warfighting in the decades to come (like lasers, supercomputing, drones, space tech, and more).
The reason for this was even more scandalous. Israel's popularity is through the floor in the U.S. and our politicans don't want to cast a vote to continue funding Israel to the tune of billions of dollars each year. We've given them 300 billion so far, and Americans are sick of it. Israel is so toxic that even AIPAC has stopped endorsing candidates, because it's a net negative. Politicians desperately do not want to vote to give Israel more money, because their constituents won't have it.
The solution? Just give them EVERYTHING, a virtual blank check, bury it in a defense spending bill, and no more votes need to be cast from here on out. Israel will become a co-owner. Meanwhile, it's being sold to the American people as *cutting* Israeli aid, which is a horrid lie.
Basically, we are no longer giving them the golden eggs. That part is true. Instead, we are giving them the goose that lays those eggs. It's a horrible idea.
Well, it just hit a hilarious roadblock, and the media isn't talking about it. But according to reports, the Israelis are turning down the offer to give them our entire defense industry on a silver platter.
Turns out, the Israelis want our future tech, but they refuse to give the U.S. co-ownership in THEIRS. They are demanding a one-way street, where Israel gets our stuff, and Israel gets their stuff, and America gets absolutely nothing.
Meanwhile, as I lay out here, Israel has been refusing to give the U.S. access to its tech for years, but the Israelis ARE giving that tech to Iran, Russia, and China.
Why are we allowing the Israelis to arm our enemies?

Is another Reformation needed in Reformed eschatology? In this open letter to Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) and Westminster Theological Seminary (WTS), Michael J. Sullivan challenges Reformed scholars to reconcile classic amillennialism’s one coming, resurrection, judgment, and new creation with partial preterism’s acknowledgment of Christ’s first-century coming in judgment upon Jerusalem in AD 70. Drawing upon Scripture, John Lightfoot, John Owen, Origen, R. C. Sproul, Kenneth Gentry, and G. K. Beale, Sullivan presents four biblical syllogisms, examines the forty-year millennium and second exodus, and calls for an open public debate. The challenge is simple: Will Reformed theology continue the Reformation by allowing Scripture—not tradition or institutional pressure—to determine its eschatology?
