Gold nanoclusters could solve quantum’s stability & scalability challenges. But there’s more. Gold-based qubits are tunable meaning the same material could be adapted for sensing, communications & computing. One base material. Multiple potential! @QuantumDaily #DGQ #DGQTF #O2J
Gold nanoclusters could solve quantum’s problem of stability and scalability. But there’s more Gold-based qubits are tunable. Each atomically precise gold nanocluster, for example, 25 atoms, 102 atoms, 144 atoms, and many others, acts like its own 'super atom', with spin and optical properties set by its structure. The shell of ligand molecules around the gold core is a further tuning dial: changing the ligand took spin polarisation from 7% to nearly 40%, and stiffening that shell is how the team aims to extend coherence time. No other qubit platform offers that kind of built-in flexibility, letting you select the material for the application: sensing, communication, computation. One base material. Multiple tunable pathways. An entirely new materials platform. @DeltaGoldTech #QuantumComputing #QuantumMaterials #DeepTech

@DeltaGoldTech (Aquis: #DGQ) published this week, which outlines well the company’s quantum computing development strategy and broader market opportunity. @FirstEquityLtd The key slide is on page 12, that illustrates that although the market cap is about £80m  or US$103m (which has risen around 12-fold since IPO last year), Delta’s market valuation is still very tiny compared to its global quantum tech peers (up to US$15bn) , which may suggest there is much further upside to come.

@DeltaGoldTech remains one of the stocks of the year (IPO 10p Dec 25) todate. #DGQ technical roadmap has worked rather well so far. First came the break above the old March resistance at 69.12p, which opened the way to 85p. After that target was met, attention shifted to 125p. The shares nearly got there, reaching 124p, which is close enough for most mortals. After such a steep run, support is now likely to come in around 100p to 105p. The move has been beautifully parabolic, and one of the giveaways along the way was how consistently the price found support above a rising 50-day moving average. 🔗 Read the full update here: share-talk.com/traders-cafe-… @ZaksTradersCafe

What if every qubit material came out identical? Fabricated qubits typically need tuning one by one. Useful quantum computers may need millions. Gold nanoclusters are grown by chemistry: same atoms, same structure every time. That’s the idea behind Delta’s research @penn_state. Paper in the comments.
Quantum computing's hardest problem isn't building a qubit. It's building a million of them that behave the same way. Fabricate a qubit on a chip, and no two are quite alike. Tiny variations in manufacturing become tiny variations in performance. That's a scaling problem. Gold nanoclusters solve this differently: they're not fabricated, they're grown by chemistry. Every nanocluster comes out molecularly identical to the last. Same atom count, same structure, same properties. It's the difference between a device you can calibrate once and trust, and one you have to re-calibrate every time. @DeltaGoldTech #QuantumComputing #QuantumMaterials #DeepTech
