There are adults (who claim to be writers) who can't wrap their heads around "depiction does not equal endorsement," and they aren't even embarrassed to post about it. Amazing

Read this dystopian article…
Clicked on the link for this bird woman and was very happy to be somehow blocked by this freak
Wild ride reading all that

this article actually made me want to try peptides
I know the author believes we need the hangover and the negative after effects of substance use
but as a neurotic, constantly stressed individual I would like to just feel good for once

Somewhere along the way, record labels became TikTok content managers. @SLOEJACKY weighs in.

I don't know what a peptide is and it this point I'm too afraid to ask

This is why MAMA is ascendant. No one wants to read your substack think-pieces about Heideggerian dialectics. Everyone over-educated now and opinions are worthless. MAMA sends people into the REAL WORLD and to investigate and portray what’s it’s like to actually be a man today

If you’re gonna do something you have to do it right. I’m done with the armchair dorks. And imagine someone trying to write this from their house in their sweatpants. It would be a disgrace. 🫡

I'm suddenly so glad someone is still writing articles for the New York Press in 1997

the peptide party being an actual thing people get invited to is the most 2025 flex i've ever seen

That was the most fascinating part of the article for me. Not being able to feel the peptide hitting but realizing later it was actually working sounds like the ultimate lack of control. Or maybe it was freedoms. I can’t tell.

I love an essay that requires me to google so many new ideas. This one is wild.

I laughed out loud at this bit on why hangovers have their place: "To be debilitated by your own behavior and write off an entire day, rather than waking up refreshed and immediately starting to vibecode."
What goes on at an NYC peptide party?
Cyborgs, Slutclouds, sex peptides, microchips in people's hands. We sent @DenzelRust to find out...

lesbian bar levels of investigative journalism happening here, to think that nearly everyone in the world lives in ignorance of the wolverine blend, slutcloud, or self-chipping

great article. first, reminds me of cyberpunk 2077. microchips and peptides. second, also reminds me of downfall of every civilization. private societies that try to escape consequences (death) and also engage in status seeking behavior. overall, good read. it is what it is.
