the way crypto trades around all-time highs has changed significantly since 2017
back then, buying new highs was one of my most reliable setups. by 2021, i started getting punished for trading those breakouts the same way
markets began consolidating around previous highs, breaking out briefly, then reversing aggressively
i've had to adapt by paying much closer attention to failed breakouts and how price reacts when it retests key levels
with equities also showing signs of weakness, i'm watching the NASDAQ and S&P 500 closely
a normal 10% correction in stocks could still create significant downside pressure for crypto
