Back in London for the Champions League final… pub recommendations for table bookings would be greatly appreciated!

Imagine how elite a @ManCity 🤝 @adidasoriginals collaboration would be, with all Adidas’ 90’s Manchester heritage. Meanwhile, over at @PUMA… – at San Francisco, CA

Will be interesting to see where he and Nwaneri play, as they seem like carbon copies of one another—both ultimately destined for the Odegaard, #10/Right #8 position in this system.

Seems like we’ve already made the signings in the position Dowman would feature (Madueke)? He looks like an £80M signing right now, so will be hard to hold back this season.

At 15, Max Dowman isn’t even old enough to buy a lighter in the UK, but he completely TORCHED Newcastle’s defence today. What a player @Arsenal has on their hands. 🔥 – at San Anselmo, CA

@jamesmcnicholas listening to this weeks Handbrake Off—excellent as always, ty—& I’m curious… If Partey is acquitted in court, how would you feel about Arteta, Arsenal et al then? Shouldn’t we let justice run its course before fueling the court of public opinion? – at Marinwood, CA

Well said @rioferdy5. Life-long Arsenal fan here—I’m appalled by the so-called fans behaviour, and would encourage @Arsenal to ban anyone guilty of personal attacks. @NoniMadueke_ is a great addition to our squad, with even more potential under Arteta’s coaching (like Havertz).

Even if you don’t believe in that basic principle of justice, suspending a player prior to criminal conviction or actual at-work misconduct could result in a constructive dismissal lawsuit. On balance, IMO, the club made the right decision based on the information presented.

‘Innocent until proven guilty’ is a fundamental principle of justice. The club had a player protesting his innocence, and no information from the Police. City played Mendy through his accusations, & only suspended him when charged—Partey wasn’t even our player when charged.

Independence Day is a reminder that America is not the project of any one person. The single most powerful word in our democracy is the word ‘We.’ ‘We The People.’ ‘We Shall Overcome.’ ‘Yes We Can.’ America is owned by no one. It belongs to all citizens. And at this moment in history—when core democratic principles seem to be continuously under attack, when too many people around the world have become cynical and disengaged—now is precisely the time to ask ourselves tough questions about how we can build our democracies and make them work in meaningful and practical ways for ordinary people.

Stabilizing American access and influence over one of the world’s largest oil reserves, regardless of its authoritarian regime, seems like a ‘MAGA’ move? Pragmatism over purity in foreign policy?
