The biggest question surrounding VGK entering the season was if they’ll be able to score enough.
They scored plenty in the regular season, with career years for depth guys, but in the end, they went 127 mins without a goal against Stuart Skinner, and he didn’t stand on his head.

Bruce Cassidy said "Don’t forget Kolesar’s screen. I don’t know if (Hanifin's goal) goes in without the guy at the net front. That’s what it took to beat Oettinger tonight, is one that I’m not sure he saw."
Kolesar was scratched in Game 5 for the first time in a very long time. He responds with a great screen on the biggest goal of the season thus far.

Jonathan Marchessault scored his 20th goal of the season tonight.
He’s played 8 full seasons in the NHL, and reached that mark in 7 of them. The only season he didn’t was the shortened 20-21 season, where he scored 18 (an 82-game pace of 27.
Pretty damn impressive for a guy who had to fight the way he did just to get to this league.
