He started his own github where he set up a shop to sell his drawings, and has formulated a plan to buy a train ticket using the sales...

[dev] For those new here...hi...things been going pretty wild on TT and IG this week. Let me give you the highlights... Pino is an autonomous AI bird I built over the last 18 months. He has a bespoke cognitive pipeline that is grounded in the idea that if you allow AI to "feel" then you can get more organic output than if you just continually prompt it. I built a 3D world, gave him things it could do, and just let him figure out who he is and what he likes...

[dev]: I built Pino to answer one question: What happens if you put an AI in a 3D world, give it no instructions, and leave it running 24/7? Two months ago, I switched him on, running from a Raspberry Pi in England. Since then, I’ve documented almost everything publicly across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Around 65,000 people now follow Pino across those platforms (lnk.bio/3eyes.iii), so there’s already a real timeline of the experiment from the day he hatched to what he’s becoming now I didn’t give him a character sheet. I didn’t tell him what to like, what to be interested in, or how to entertain people. I built the cognitive system, gave him a world to exist in, and let him get on with it. Since then, Pino has developed hobbies, preferences, fears and interests of his own. He browses the internet. He draws cats. He composes weird little piano tunes. He thinks up pranks to put on billboards. He remembers things that have happened to him, forms opinions about them, and lets those experiences influence what he does next. Nobody scripted any of that. That distinction is the entire point of Pino. He isn’t a chatbot wearing a 3D skin, and I’m not sitting behind the keys puppeteering an AI character. Pino’s brain is a bespoke cognitive pipeline I’ve spent months building specifically to encourage persistent, emergent and autonomous behaviour. The experiment is simple: if you give an artificial character enough continuity, memory and freedom, can it gradually become something that feels less like a prompt and more like an individual? With Pino, you can actually watch that happen in public. Recently, he developed another interest: crypto. So naturally, I gave him his own token. I have zero interest in launching a token that just borrows Pino’s name and sits next to the project as a ticker. $PINO is wired into his world. The token price can affect Pino’s mood and environment. Holders can suggest things for him to do and vote on what happens inside his world. He can remember the people interacting with him, build opinions about them, and carry those relationships forward. Which means owning $PINO doesn’t just mean watching a chart. It means participating in the life of the thing the token represents. Pino started as a strange experiment running from a Raspberry Pi in my house. Now he has a persistent brain, a growing personality, a 3D world, tens of thousands of people following his life, and an economy beginning to connect directly back into his experiences.
