Hey @ Brad Holmes. There is a fire sale in Indy. Can you please get Sauce

Trade: Colts are sending three-time Pro-Bowl DT DeForest Buckner back to the 49ers, the team that made him a 2016 first-round pick before dealing him to Indianapolis in 2020, per me and @rapsheet. Now Buckner returns to San Francisco, fortifying the 49ers defensive line.

Do you think the Colts would take a 3rd and 5th for Sauce?

Look at that Lions defensive improvement. You all hated Kelvin Sheppard, but he is making the right changes. With reinforcements on the way.

Offensive and defensive explosive play rates: The 49ers are the only team to rank in the top five of both!

Holy Copium. This might be peak copium.

I firmly believe the fact that the Packers do not have a billionaire owner to hold someone accountable or draw attention to it plays into this.

With Branch back, and Joseph coming back... this defense is going to look different I promise you.

Give Kelvin Sheppard his flowers. First 4 Lions defense vs last 2. Branch just got back and already said it: “Shepp called a hell of a game plan, put everyone in the right spot, and once we execute, it’s a wrap.” Via @ttwentyman Should only get better from here.

What if... he is stays good? Jospeh Branch Reed CB at the deadline
Al Karsten
@FootballGuy_AlOct 26
Lions CB D.J. Reed is PFF’s fourth-highest-graded cornerback from Weeks 5-7 with an 87.1 defensive grade (min. 50 snaps). He also ranks fourth in coverage grade (86.1) and eighth in run-defense grade (81.4) during that span.

Honestly I’m disappointed the Lions didn’t win by more. If the refs would have gotten out of the way of this game the Lions would have won by more
