Unless...

A quick search and... Jackets, not waistcoats. Why did I remember waistcoats??

Hope you had a wonderful launch, Jan. Sorry I couldn't make it, but you'll be glad to know we've already sold out of our newly arrived copies (pictured the last one just before it went)! We'll have more in at @GroveBookshop soon :).

Writing is exhausting.

Big thanks to everyone who joined me for my Lost & Found session at this year's #flashficfest. Pictured: some of your creepy friends... I loved hearing your own lost & found stories. Do keep sharing them with me. Many thanks to @judehwriter @FlashFicFest for inviting me 🙏.

Teddy has *thoughts* on the tennis.

Nikki and I were on the radio this morning talking about our favourite topic: books! (and, more specifically, our beloved Grove Bookshop in Ilkley). Have a listen. Link is in the thread below 👇

How's your writing going? #gettingnothingdone

Happy National Flash Fiction Day, everyone! I've been at a uni open day today, so will have to catch up with the flood tomorrow, but delighted to have my story 'The Winter of Torvill and Dean' in this year's stunning anthology. Thanks, @nationalflashfd 🙏

I need to share some 💛 for Charmaine Wilkerson's new novel (out 28 Jan). Good Dirt is a wonderful patchwork of fragments that reveal an intricate story about a family heirloom and how people rebuild their lives - and seek hope - after tragedy. Absolutely stunning. 🌸🌼🌺
