Corktown now has a restored vision 👓.
A 1933 warehouse, formerly an eyeglass and mirror manufacturer has been redeveloped into loft-style apartments, 14 of which are residential units for households earning up to 80% of the area median income.
Steps away from Michigan Central Station and the Joe Louis Greenway, Bagley Vision’s name pays tribute to the Detroit Mirror and Glass Company, that once operated on the site. The building features ground-floor retail and dining, and a landscaped outdoor gathering space.

AlumniFi Field in Corktown will immediately become the jewel of @USLChampionship stadiums when it opens in 2028. My advice to fellow Michiganders is that you will want to experience games in Hamtramck now to understand what makes the club special.
Amazing experience watching @DetroitCityFC at Keyworth. I’ve been very lucky to cover sports all over the world. DCFC supporters are among the most engaged, passionate, and welcoming people I’ve encountered anywhere. So great for fans of all ages and interest levels. ❤️⚽️

Yesterday, we broke ground on AlumniFi Field in Southwest Detroit, and we couldn’t have reached this moment without the community that built this club.
Thank you to our development partners, civic leaders, Mayor Mary Sheffield, and everyone who believed in this long before there was dirt to turn.

Great video on Detroit development featuring @DetroitCityFC & AlumniFi Field. The stadium is PRIVATELY financed without subsidies & is part of a larger development including Michigan Central & the Mobility Hub revitalizing Michigan Avenue and Corktown.
