BREAKING: Over 100 furious parents and multiple Republican lawmakers storm the Utah Capitol to “protest a school district’s decision to remove the Bible from middle and elementary school libraries after a parent brilliantly uses a Republican book ban against “woke books” and “sensitive material” to request that it be banned. The furious conservative parents are now demanding that the Bible be exempt from the book ban, even though it “contains instances of incest, prostitution and rape” — and the school district determined that it is too “violent and vulgar” under the new law — because they believe that The Bible is “the original textbook.” The Associated Press reports that the furious conservative parents had “no issue” with their new law banning books that included discussions about “race and LGBTQ lifestyles.” The Associated Press continues, reporting that, “the challenge to the Bible appears to have been submitted as a statement” to expose the “political double standard” of the law — and apparently it worked just as intended. “If folks are outraged about the Bible being banned, they should be outraged about all the books that are being censored,” said the leader of a prominent local librarian organization.
