#PotusGeeks #BookReview: The Devil May Dance by @jaketapper - Another excellent page turner combining 1960s history and mystery. The Kennedys, the Rat Pack, the Mob and the sleezy underbelly of Hollywood; get ready for a terrific ride and a terrific read. potus-geeks.livejournal.com/…
Star Tribune: Tapper “nails the bourbon-soaked decadence and the offhand misogyny and racism of old-school Hollywood. And he has admirably fleshed out his hero… a much more jaded Charlie drinks and lusts — and gets the best of faux-tough-guy John Wayne.”

Very kind AudioFile Magazine review: “Tapper's page-turner reveals corruption and adds layers to the personalities of boldface names …Sinatra sings ‘The Devil May Dance,’ but Tapper calls the key, tempo, and final crescendo.” audiofilemagazine.com/review…

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: “‘The Devil May Dance’ is fun to read, with Tapper’s takeoff on the 1962 Oscars a special guilty pleasure. Glibly written, simultaneous funny and horrifying, there’s just enough ring of truth to titillate our memories and make us want to learn more…
2/ “…about the foibles of the rich and the famous as we turn the page hungrily at the end of every provocative chapter."
