Businessworld की जांच: @IDBI_Bank बैंक की बिक्री के दौरान LIC के स्वतंत्र निदेशक G. Mahalingam 7 महीने तक Fairfax-नियंत्रित Thomas Cook India के बोर्ड पर भी बैठे रहे। LIC 30.24% हिस्सेदारी बेच रही थी, Fairfax खरीद रहा था। Mahalingam LIC के Investment Committee में भी थे। उनका LIC टर्म 28 जुलाई 2026 को खत्म हुआ, 14 अक्टूबर को कैबिनेट ने ₹81/शेयर पर Fairfax को मंजूरी दी।
Fairfax और उसकी कंपनियों में कई पूर्व सरकारी-नियामक अधिकारी जुड़े:
• अमिताभ कांत (पूर्व नीति आयोग CEO, G20 शेरपा) – जून 2025 से Fairfax Senior Advisor
• G. Mahalingam (पूर्व RBI ED, SEBI WTM) – दिसंबर 2025 से Thomas Cook India
• B.P. Kanungo (पूर्व RBI डिप्टी गवर्नर) – IIFL Finance चेयरपर्सन
• Biswamohan Mahapatra (पूर्व RBI ED) – CSB Bank पार्ट-टाइम चेयरमैन
• Giridhar Aramane (पूर्व Defence Secretary) – Go Digit Independent Director
Businessworld के अनुसार 17 पूर्व अधिकारियों का Fairfax नेटवर्क, जिनमें कई IDBI सेल प्रोसेस शुरू होने (अक्टूबर 2022) के बाद जुड़े।
वहीं वैल्यूएशन प्रक्रिया पर सवाल: आंतरिक नोट के अनुसार Fairfax की बोली पहले खोली गई, रिजर्व प्राइस हटाई गई, फिर नई वैल्यूएशन मंगाई गईं जो बिड से कम आईं। सरकार का कहना है प्रक्रिया सही रही। कोई सार्वजनिक सबूत नहीं कि इन अधिकारियों ने डील प्रभावित की, लेकिन ओवरलैप, खुलासे और रिक्यूजल पर सवाल बने हुए हैं।
ये सरकार देश की संपत्ति को निजी संपत्ति
की तरह बेच रही है

Radio Television of Vojvodina (RTV) opened its news broadcast with footage of celebrations following the Student List's election victory — scenes it had failed to show the previous evening.
“For years, we failed to fulfill our duty. We kept silent, turned a blind eye, reported events one-sidedly, and failed to ask the necessary questions. For that, we owe our viewers an apology,” news anchor Goran Eror said.
Following the controversy, RTV's acting editor-in-chief Nenad Čačić resigned.
A similar incident occurred in Hungary, where state television also apologized to viewers after Viktor Orbán's election defeat.

After 14 years of Aleksandar Vučić's political dominance, his bloc has lost the snap parliamentary elections. The opposition Student List, which emerged from mass anti-government protests, has claimed victory.
According to preliminary figures from Ipsos and CeSID, the students secured around 53% of the vote, while Vučić's coalition received approximately 39%.
The former president acknowledged defeat. He estimated that the winners could secure 135–140 seats in Serbia's 250-member parliament.
But he couldn't resist issuing a warning about Russia. Vučić claimed the new government could impose sanctions on Moscow as early as March or April.
Meanwhile, Belgrade and other Serbian cities celebrated the student movement's victory throughout the night, with car horns, singing, and crowds cheering in the streets.

ग्रेटर नोएडा के पाई वन में पंजाब नेशनल बैंक है। यहां बड़ी संख्या में लोगों के खातों से कई करोड़ रुपए निकाल लिए गए। किसी के मोबाइल पर मैसेज तक नहीं आया। किसी की FD तोड़ी गई तो किसी के खाते से पैसे दूसरे खाते में ट्रांसफर कर दिए गए। पुलिस के पास अब तक 20 एप्लिकेशन आ चुकी हैं। इनकी संख्या 50 पार जा सकती है। इस बैंक में उन किसानों के बहुत सारे खाते हैं, जिन्होंने जेवर एयरपोर्ट के जमीन अधिग्रहण में करोड़ों–करोड़ों रुपए मुआवजा पाया है। फिलहाल बैंक और पुलिस अपने–अपने स्तर पर जांच कर रहे हैं। बैंककर्मियों की भूमिका संदिग्ध है।

🚨SHOCKING - FIR against Malabar:
A man walked into a Malabar Gold showroom in Bilaspur with a simple request: exchange his old 22-carat HUID-hallmarked bracelet.
The staff ran it through their XRF machine. Once. Twice. Three times.
Every reading came back the same: 20 carat.
They even told him the hallmark didn’t exist.
He called the local jeweller who had sold him the bracelet. The jeweller walked in, confirmed the HUID, and asked them to test it again.
Same machine. Same bracelet. Same room.
This time an employee adjusted something on the machine. Suddenly the reading flipped to 916 - pure 22 carat.
The jeweller recorded everything. The Sarafa Association arrived. Police registered an FIR against the showroom manager and the machine operator. The machine and DVR were seized.
This wasn’t a small local shop. This was Malabar Gold “the chain that advertises trust, purity, and BIS standards across India”.
One bracelet. Two readings. An 8% gap in gold value. And the only thing that changed was who was watching.
If a hallmarked piece can magically lose two carats the moment a customer wants to exchange it, and magically regain them the moment someone pushes back, what exactly is the machine testing?
Customers don’t walk into Malabar expecting a calibration error that only appears when they’re selling gold.
They walk in expecting the purity printed on their receipt.
The FIR is real.
The readings are on record.
The machine was seized.
Malabar still hasn’t explained why the same piece of gold needed a “setting” before it became 22 carat again.
Until they do, this isn’t a machine glitch.
It’s a business model.

बिहार के पटना में 2020 में आम जनमत पार्टी रजिस्टर्ड हुई. चंदा था सिर्फ 20 हजार. इस पार्टी की अध्यक्ष अनामिका पासवान ने 2022 में पार्टी छोड़ी और भाजपा नेता हो गयी.
अनामिका वर्तमान में बिहार बीजेपी की उपाध्यक्ष है.
आम जनमत पार्टी के नये अध्यक्ष बने गौरव मिश्रा और पार्टी गुजरात के अहमदाबाद के नरौदा इलाके में शिफ्ट हो गयी.
> 2022-23 में इस पार्टी को 216 करोड़ रूपये का चंदा मिला.
> इस पार्टी ने 2023-2024 में 620 करोड़ रूपये का चंदा पाया.
बाबजूद इसके पार्टी ने 2024 के चुनाव में सिर्फ एक उम्मीदवार चुनाव मैदान में उतारा.
आम जनमत पार्टी को जितना चंदा मिला, कांग्रेस, राष्ट्रीय पार्टी होते हुए उससे आधे से भी कम चंदा ही पा सकी.
BBC की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार- पार्टी के कोषाध्यक्ष धर्मेन्द्र वैष्णव ने बताया कि पार्टी के सभी पदाधिकारियों ने इस्तीफा दे दिया इसलिए उम्मीदवार नही उतारे गये. पार्टी के अध्यक्ष गौरव मिश्रा से BBC रिपोर्टर का सम्पर्क ही नही हो सका.
पार्टी का आफिस भले ही बंद हो या पार्टी के नेता छोड़कर चले गये हो, लेकिन पार्टी में आज भी चंदा सप्लाई जारी है.
सैकड़ों करोड़ का चंदा पाने वाली 6 छोटी पार्टियां गुजरात से है. उनमें 4 अहमदाबाद के नरौदा से है.
