Diamondback's DNA I&E Mentorship at @Midland_College connects students with real-world industry experience, building a pipeline of career-ready technicians right here in Midland. This week, we celebrated a piece of West Texas history! Diamondback donated a 1956 Lufkin C640DB-144-30 pumping unit to @PetroleumMuseum. This 70-year-old piece of equipment is the first of only 39 units ever produced and now stands as a permanent fixture welcoming museum visitors, a reminder of the people and innovation that shaped the Permian Basin.

Diamondback employees teed it up at Gaillardia Country Club in Oklahoma City!⛳ Our company golf tournament gave employees a chance to connect and celebrate the teamwork that drives our success every day. Diamondback’s DNA Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Mentorship Meet and Greet brought @Midland_College students and mentors together to build connections, share experiences, and begin relationships that shape future careers. Through our partnership with Midland College, Diamondback employees are helping bridge the gap between education and industry by bringing real-world knowledge directly into the classroom. Throughout the year, mentors will support hands-on learning, reinforce course material, and share career insights with students preparing for careers in the oil and gas industry. Mentorship matters, and Diamondback is excited to help develop the next generation of industry professionals.

We closed the chapter on 2026 internships as students wrapped up their time with our teams this week. This summer, 38 interns brought unique perspectives and experiences to the table to fuel real value for Diamondback. The future of our industry bright! Our Oklahoma City team recently traded the office for an afternoon of family and fun at Andy B's Bowl Social. From bowling and arcade games to axe throwing, face painting, and more, there was something for everyone to enjoy. This fun employee engagement experience was a great chance to step away from the workday, connect with one another, and make memories with families!

The Permian Basin is an economic powerhouse in Texas and the most productive energy region on earth.   Although our impact is critical to the state, West Texas has operated under power constraints because adequate transmission infrastructure has not kept pace with our region’s growing demand. This week, @PowerWestTexas launched to highlight the need to address insufficient transmission capacity and forecasted electrical load in our region.   No region matters more to the future of Texas or the security of our nation.

Our support for @Midland_College (MC) and our region’s future energy workforce continues! Diamondback is expanding its long-standing commitment through a $1 million investment in the college's Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) and Automation program. The gift builds on our mentorship program with MC, strengthens workforce development, expands hands-on training, and grows mentorship opportunities for students preparing to enter the energy workforce right here in the Permian Basin. To mark the occasion, our team was honored to join MC leadership for a check presentation on campus with students in the I&E Mentorship Program and community and industry stakeholders.
