My dad 87 (with dementia) fell and broke his hip in his house. It took 6 1/2 hours for ambulance to arrive after his fall during which time he was lying on floor whole time. Then he spent another 8 hours waiting in an ambulance for a bed in hospital 😡 14 hours after he fell to actually get a bed in hospital- it is beyond belief! It is now touch and go if he makes it. Saw him today and said to my wife “he isnt coming out of there” @WelshGovernment the welsh NHS is a disgrace @PrifWeinidog stop show boating about independence and do your job @WalesOnline #morristonhospital
