Each new point of presence is a step towards creating a more connected world. And Manila is no exception.
As the capital city of Asia-Pacific's most plugged-in nation, where people spend more time online daily than anywhere else in the region โ Manila is an essential addition to the OneQode network.
We now have a team in the Philippines and rackspace in 3 excellent data centers โ which we'll connect via high-capacity dark fiber.
Building the foundation for the next decade of connected experiences starts by being where the digital heartbeat is strongest.

With our new ๐ต๐ญ Manila presence, we'll cut latency by up to 45% for businesses who operate in both the Philippines and Australia.
They'll see major improvements in:
๐ audio/video call quality
๐ป remote access services
โ๏ธ cloud-based apps
๐ services that rely on international connectivity
We'll also deploy a cloud region Manila in the coming months.

Masyadong masalimuot at kumplikado ang legal issues surrounding Masungi. But one thing is certain: the legal and political system should give premium to the environment and its protection.

I state this opinion as a news publisher of my own online news org, @advocatesph.
Maria Ressa deserves the Nobel Prize because she is a figurehead of how journalists are treated when they are not part of the mantle of govt press releases and propaganda.
