These things I’m hearing about this entire situation are so sad. The organizers never gave one fuck??? What do you mean by the party went on? I need you all to stop for a serious moment and think about the people you’re supporting! He mattered to many people, and I hope he knew
Waiting to see what SCREAM is going to say about that young man who died at their national stadium event last night

Holy flipping cow. Symptomatic NHS staff *looking after immunocompromised patients* no longer need to test for Covid. Absolutely astonishing. This will kill patients. Beyond horrifying.

Steven Spielberg wears a respirator while being interviewed outside the opening of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art on September 19, 2026. Respiratory protection doesn’t have to be unusual or disruptive. For many people, it remains a simple, everyday way to reduce the risk of airborne infection and help protect their health and the health of those around them. #MaskUp #COVID19 #COVID #PublicHealth #InfectionPrevention

This is the biggest lie you’ve been told. You’re told the West is falling apart because of migrants and minorities. But who closed the factories? Crashed the banks? Launched the wars? Here’s what really happened.

The only people who want to work to “local scope” and “self regulation” in healthcare are those who want to work as per their hubris, not their knowledge It’s to avoid scrutiny while satisfying their hubris Whatever be the cost to the public There’s a reason I work to a national scope and @gmcuk regulation To work to my training, a defined scope and regulation. Safety first Hubris later You can play as much mental gymnastics and word salad as you want. Ignoring or resisting a drive to a national scope and fudging regulation? Is to satisfy hubris. Simple to be honest.

Listening to discussion of denial of bathroom access to a primary school child. In a recorded clip, Minister Dixon said, "...we have to check if the rules were broken..." DJM's comment: "No, minister, you have to check if the rules make sense." I agree, @djmillerJA. #Jamaica

What's far more common than plagiarism in academia is white profs getting into their positions on the backs of exploiting and stealing ideas & work from students, postdocs, asst profs - many of who are POCs, because this is often the way the only way they will be allowed to stay

If you are a PA and the first title you are using when describing your role is 'GP' - which is legally protected and reserved for people with medical degrees and PG training - you are being disingenuous It is deliberately misleading. And you know that.

Who are the consultants enabling this? PAs have no place in psychiatric assessment & diagnosis. It is “not mandatory that the PA has prior experience of a relevant specialty” but will “perform clinical duties with a high degree of clinical skill and knowledge”. Huh? 🤔 (1/n)
Morning @wesstreeting . You said that you’d implement the @lengreview recommendations. Please explain why this job ad appeared yesterday on NHS jobs . How can a newly qualified PA learn to diagnose ADHD on the job ? How can they be on the PAMVR? @rcpsych @DrLadeSmith

I’ve just posted what I earned as consultant in NHs to another Dr. I think private earnings for most Drs taking it seriously roughly doubled that. My point is pay was overgenerous Earnings as a junior Dr not good at all and over 100 hrs a week (every week) in early days.
