The Army taught me plenty of things I never learned in school.
How to function without sleep. How to laugh when everything goes wrong. How to trust someone with my life.
But the greatest lesson was learning that courage isn’t the absence of fear.
It’s doing your job while you’re scared shitless.

I spoke with Governor-Elect @AmyActonOH and wished her team well on a successful transition to the new administration. I also congratulated her on a hard-fought victory. My staff is also working alongside Secretary-Elect @Russo4Ohio's team to facilitate a smooth transition to the Secretary of State’s office. We look forward to working together in the best interests of all Ohioans.
I also received a gracious call from my opponent, @AnnetteForOhio. I thanked her for a civil campaign and wished her the best in her continued service to the people of Maple Heights.
I offer my best wishes to every candidate who won in Tuesday’s election. While I hoped for a different outcome in many contests, all of us should work toward mutual success and civility. The majority of voters asked for a bipartisan government and a system of checks and balances. As Auditor of State, we’ll meet that challenge by providing independent oversight that protects your tax dollars and holds politicians accountable, regardless of party or politics.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to connect with the Marine Corps League, Department of California and hear from #Marines who continue to serve our Corps in a different way. I’m truly grateful for the #veterans who continue to strengthen our tribe. #SemperFidelis!

Before he became the Man in Black, Johnny Cash wore the uniform of the United States Air Force.
At just 18 years old, Cash enlisted in 1950 and served as a radio intercept operator in Germany. Long before his voice became one of the most recognizable in American music, he was serving our country. This Veterans Month, we honor Johnny Cash and his legacy of service. 🇺🇸

The U.S. economy again crushed economists' expectations, with very strong private sector job growth in October. 📈

I’m grateful to Susie Wiles for her calm and inspiring leadership and wisdom. Susie brokered my partnership with President Trump in July 2024 and then spearheaded the campaign to get our team elected. She oversaw the transition process and helped me bring an extraordinary cadre of brilliant and disruptive leaders into HHS. Hers was the toughest job on earth, and she handled every crisis with patience, grace, and poise.
God bless you, Susie, and thank you for your friendship, which I treasure.
Today is my last day as White House Chief of Staff.
Serving President Trump in the White House has been the honor of a lifetime. I’m so proud to have been a part of what we’ve accomplished together from securing our border and cutting taxes to strengthening our economy and putting America First.
More than anything, I’m grateful for the extraordinary people I’ve had the privilege of working alongside. While my role may be changing, my commitment to the President and the mission never will.
