Wisdom from Senator Reeves...
Last night was a sobering loss for Republicans. We owe voters an honest assessment of what happened—and the humility to listen. My read is that frustration over gas prices, the cost of housing, and the war in the Middle East weighed heavily. Families want affordable lives, security, and confidence in the future. We need to take their concerns seriously. I believe these results reflect a pushback against the president and our party far more than an endorsement of the Democratic agenda here in Tennessee. But that distinction does not excuse us from examining our own shortcomings. We have to earn the public’s trust through both our conduct and our results. For Republicans, the work ahead starts with getting back to basics: limited government, low taxes, free enterprise, public safety, and protecting family values. Those principles must translate into real improvements in people’s lives—good jobs, housing within reach, safe neighborhoods, and strong families supported by schools that prepare our children to succeed. Our message must be about more than what we’re against. It must offer a hopeful, compelling vision of what we’re for and who we’re fighting for. We should move forward with conviction, humility, and a willingness to work with anyone who wants to help our communities. The people we serve deserve leaders who listen carefully, speak respectfully, and deliver. That is where my focus will remain.🇺🇸🇺🇸

A vote for El Sayed is a vote for a Jew-hating Islamic extremist.
Michigan Momentum With Nancy Pelosi and Haley Stevens backing off of El Sayed in various ways (while then having to reaffirm they have not left the team) along with him refusing to condemn the pac antisemitic ad blaming Jews for banana prices and then putting Tucker Carlson in his own ad, this all suggests that despite solid public polls for El Sayed, momentum is shifting to Rogers. Putting Carlson in an ad just has to be a signal that Sayed’s goal is to rally all antisemites, and there could be almost no greater affront to Democratic women who supported Stevens. And Steven’s fiancé going out doesn’t happen without an ok or he would not still be a fiancé. Turnout will be key but these are signs of a significant split among Dems with some saying that El Sayed is a bridge too far.

Friday Recap Story 1: Michigan Democrats Turn on Their Own Senate Nominee Michigan Democrats are facing a public rift after the fiancé of Democratic Rep. Haley Stevens announced he would vote for Republican Mike Rogers over Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed. Jason Turkish sharply criticized El-Sayed for sympathizing with terrorists and blasted him for campaigning with Hasan Piker, explaining how his reprehensible actions have put Jewish Americans in danger. With Stevens’ former campaign chair also backing Rogers, the controversy has exposed serious divisions within Michigan’s Democratic Party just days before Election Day.
