🐕🐶One year ago, Penny the chihuahua was brutally attacked on the Upper West Side. In the year since, I have been honored to work alongside @DirectorChick and so many others who refused to let this issue be ignored. What began as a response to a horrific attack became a coalition fighting to protect animals and support pet owners across our city. We are proud to stand with @galeabrewer, in support of her bill package to strengthen protections for pets and their families. This fight is far from over, but this past year showed what can happen when a community stands together and demands action.

Had a great time joining @NYPDPBMN on the Upper West Side at Paws for a Cause 🐾. Proud to stand with @DirectorChick and so many neighbors as we rallied for #JusticeForPenny. Always proud to join with our @NYPD24Pct and all those working to keep our communities safe.

On Friday we rallied for Penny. We joined at City Hall to call for real accountability and to push for the passage of Penny’s Law. Penny is a fighter and so is her mom, @DirectorChick. Their story is inspiring change, and we’re not stopping until we have #JusticeforPenny!
