First rains of the Northeast Monsoon from today in Chennai & Tamil Nadu =============================== What to expect over the next 2 weeks? * Sudden spells of rain, followed by breaks. * Another sudden spell of rain, with occasional heavy spells. * Rainfall may not be continuous throughout the day. There would be lot of sunny or cloudy intervals between spells. * The timing, duration and intensity of rainfall will vary from place to place. * Intermittent rain does not mean that every location will receive rain every day or at the same time. This on-and-off pattern is expected to repeat across entire Tamil Nadu, including Chennai, over the next two weeks. A small but important reminder: Carry your umbrella or raincoat whenever you step out, starting today! You never know when the next sudden spell of rain will catch you by surprise. This year NE Monsoon is going to be good for Tamil Nadu & Chennai. Not every rain will translate into a Flood, We need these rains Lets enjoy the Northeast Monsoon.
