Police found Jennifer’s mother, Darnell, face down in the living room, shot in the back, a broom still by her hand as if she’d tried to fend him off. They found her brother, Jason, in his bed, head on the pillow, the sheets still pulled up - killed in his sleep. Then Balfour took Julia’s 7-year-old son, Julian, and shot him too; the boy was found in the back of an SUV 3 days later. Julia, the only person he was actually angry at, was at work. That’s the sole reason anyone in that family is still alive.
