The father of the 20-year-old co-pilot who died along with eight others when their Learjet crashed in Florida said Friday he has listened to his daughter’s final radio transmissions “many times” since the crash. Allan Filgueiras, himself a pilot, was searching for answers as to why the plane plunged from the sky on Sunday — but what he found was pride in how his daughter, Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, handled the crisis.

#BREAKING: Democratic Gov.-elect Keisha Lance Bottoms said Friday she’d work to repeal Georgia’s abortion restrictions, a move that is in line with promises she made on the campaign trail to restore previous standards before the repeal of Roe v. Wade.

Jimmy Kimmel tells Donald Trump to "resign" as U.S. president after the Republicans' losses in the midterm elections: “The verdict is in, and there’s only one thing left for Nappy Gilmore to do: Resign. Quit already, just quit. Nobody wants you. Even you don’t want to be president anymore. Take that billion dollars worth of crypto, buy an island. Maybe Epstein’s island? Wouldn’t that be a perfect end to this story!” Kimmel also railed against Trump claiming he would've won if he were on the ballot: "That is such crap. You were on the ballot. You’re like dog hair; you’re on everything. You’ve infected every nook and cranny of our lives. You divided this country like no one else ever divided it before. The only time you ever brought us together was yesterday, when we all teamed up to get rid of you!" variety.com/2026/tv/news/jim…

I love this video. For those of us who were children during the civil rights era, these stories of finding out about racism are not uncommon.
