#MicaWhy can't @DarraghOBrienTD @MichealMartinTD @LeoVaradkar STILL not guarantee that concrete blocks made today are fit for purpose, despite years of issues a number of deleterious materials? #MicaWhy isn't this issue being given the serious and urgent attention deserves?

#micafighter absolutely @rosieed we were also talking to councillor Micheal Mc Bride who said the total opposite. What councillor were you speaking with @seamusdevenny
I heard the opposite last week. That the demonstration in Lifford may have been the most effective of all the protests to date. The letter on Friday doesn’t reflect that but councillors are demanding answers from the execs now, a good thing. That’s his opinion and I don’t agree.

I will continue to monitor this situation to ensure that families affected by mica receive the support and services they deserve. While Government continues to drag its heels on finding a long-term solution to the crisis ➡️ thomaspringle.ie/2022/06/08/… #MicaRedress #RightThisTime

Replying to @HMcEntee
@HMcEntee Requests for visa extensions are supported by @LeoVaradkar @BernardDurkanTD @nealerichmond @OCallaghanJim @joefingalgreen @ivanabacik @AodhanORiordain @chrisandrews64 @SorcaClarke_TD @bridsmithTD @paulmurphy_TD among others. Are officials standing in the way of Justice?

@HMcEntee This is one of the reasons we need visa permission extensions until Sept 30th. Gardaí need to get statements from victims. Unless you act, witnesses and evidence will be lost by May 31st. Businesses need them as workers too. (via @thejournal_ie) jrnl.ie/5762831

Last week SCSI issued their report giving the rates to rebuild a. These figures are fair and based on Local QS experience. But this isn't over the line, The Minister and Housing Department now have to respect the experts and not mess with these figures. #MicaAmberWk1
