How can you NOT believe in God when octopuses dream and otters have a favorite rock they carry around in a little skin pocket and cows have best friends and bees are out there communicating the coordinates of flowers through dancing and they have regional dialects? Cats are purring at frequencies associated with bone healing? Forests get absolutely incinerated and respond by growing flowers? Dolphins literally invent names for themselves and yell them across the ocean? Penguins are waddling around Antarctica looking for the perfect rock to give their partner? CROWS REMEMBER YOUR FACE. THEY TELL OTHER CROWS ABOUT YOU. THEY TELL THEIR CHILDREN ABOUT YOU. YOU CAN HAVE GENERATIONAL BEEF WITH A BIRD. I NEED YOU TO UNDERSTAND THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THIS. Goats have accents. Rats laugh when you tickle them. Elephants mourn their dead. Whales make songs and then OTHER WHALES LEARN THE SONG and suddenly everybody across the ocean is singing the new song. Monarch butterflies are born knowing how to fly thousands of miles to a place they have never been. Sea turtles hatch out of an egg, immediately sprint toward an ocean that they have never seen, disappear into it for like 3 decades and then somehow come back to the same beach they hatched on. Birds can see colors that we humans can’t see. There are colors out there right now that we don’t even get to know about. There are sea slugs that eat algae and use the chloroplast/chlorophyll and then are just like…photosynthesizing. And they’re super adorable. There are mushrooms communicating underground. There are seeds sitting in the dirt for decades like “no actually I will wait. It’s fine.” Squirrels plant trees because they forget where they put their snacks. Relatable. A CATERPILLAR GOES INTO A LITTLE BAG THAT IT CREATES ITSELF AND DISSOLVES MOST OF ITS BODY INTO ORGANIC GOO AND REARRANGES ITSELF, GROWS WINGS AND THEN LEAVES. WHY IS THIS NOT MORE BEAUTIFULLY TERRIFYING TO PEOPLE?? And you’re telling me a tiny acorn knows how to become a huge tree? It just has a blueprint inside itself? Your body started as ONE CELL. ONE. And that cell divided itself into a brain that can think about its own existence and eyes that can look at stars and hands that can hold somebody else’s hands and a heart that runs on electricity without you even asking it to? The iron in our blood was made inside a star?? We are walking around on a wet rock covered in bioluminescent oceans and singing whales and laughing rats and birds holding lifelong grudges and flowers exploding out of fire and somehow we’re supposed to act like this is a normal place to live? We’re supposed to act like this is all just a random, accidental sequence of events?

Bhutan rejected mass dog culling. WHO has now validated it as South-East Asia’s first country to eliminate dog-transmitted human rabies as a public-health problem. Vaccination and sterilisation worked. Culling did not. dogdeskanimalaction.co.uk/p/…

Jai Hind Friends 🇮🇳 Sharing for help abt fellow Brother in Arms ❤️ “Some stories should not be scrolled past. This is one of them. Col Anurag Upadhyay scored in the 99th percentile in CAT. He could have chosen a corporate career. He chose the Indian Army instead. He volunteered for the Special Forces, completed probation with 3 PARA (SF), and joined the raising team of 12 PARA (SF). Even after a heart attack in 2008, he returned to active duty. In August 2025, he suffered a severe posterior circulation stroke. Today, he has Locked-in Syndrome. His body has been severely affected. His mind has not. He is conscious and aware. He remembers. He thinks. Through eye movements and alphabet-based scanning, he communicates his thoughts. Further complications resulted in bilateral below-knee amputations. This post is not asking for sympathy. It is asking for possibility. His family knows what the medical literature says. They are not asking for promises. They believe no credible possibility should remain unexplored because the right expert was outside their network. They seek connections to: • Neurologists and neuro-rehabilitation specialists experienced in Locked-in Syndrome • Rehabilitation centres focused on neurological recovery • Researchers exploring recovery of movement, speech or other functions • Research and emerging technologies, including brain-computer interfaces • Eye-tracking and assistive technology that could give Anurag a more independent voice • Veteran organisations or individuals who can open the right doors Someone reading this may know a doctor who has treated a similar patient, a rehabilitation team that has seen a different outcome, a relevant researcher—or someone who can make the right introduction. His prognosis should be determined by medicine and how his body responds—not by a lack of information, access or connections. Please make a connection if you can. DM “Tales Of A Gypsy” on Instagram. If you cannot, share this until it reaches someone who can. No sympathy. Just one question: What more is possible for Col Anurag ? Let us help him find out” lnkd.in/p/d-AS2WgN Prayers 🙌For You- Brother Anurag ❤️

No one man should ever have this amount of power again.
The American President just signed an Executive Order enabling ranchers to shoot and poison the very last wolves in America. Wolves in America number around 0.5% of their original population, and they are of course vital to the health of landscapes.

We’re quick to call wildlife a “nuisance” when they enter our gardens, neighborhoods, or trash… but rarely stop to ask what brought them there in the first place. Animals are simply trying to survive in a world that keeps changing around them.

If the choice was between death or becoming a sex slave for conquerors and a concubine in their harems, several women chose former. Some women may choose latter. However, they used their agency- whether one agrees or disagrees with can be debated but it was a choice. A choice that a woman made. Deal with it.

15 yr Delhi boy Vandal Sawai, jet-lagged, reluctantly enters an online chess tournament because his parents push him to. He beats World No.1 Magnus Carlsen in 50 moves, plays two more games, says “I’m done” and goes to bed. His parents discover next day on Chess.com that their son had beaten Magnus! 😂 Only in India!

This is K9 Valor. He saved 47 soldiers. He survived a suicide bomber, then went on to stop three more, fighting tooth against knife. In the end, he placed himself between an explosion and his handler. The blast shattered half his face. He lost his left eye and ear. He was flown to Germany, where surgeons worked to rebuild his jaw. At the Pentagon, he was honored with a standing ovation that lasted over eight minutes. A true American hero👍
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This post and image promote a fabricated story; no such dog exists or was honored at the Pentagon, and dogs are ineligible for the Medal of Honor (awarded only to human service members). snopes.com/fact-check/k9-… cmohs.org/medal/faqs esd.whs.mil/Portals/54/Doc…
