The Independent Inquiry is still very relevant today. Key reading for anyone in the NHS. It powerfully states that hospitals routinely maintain their expensive and vital machines. However, the NHS doesn’t invest the same care in expensive and vital staff. simplypsychiatry.co.uk/siteb…

This is the case which preempted the establishment of @NHSPracHealth which NHSE now wishes to de-fund. We shouldn't forget how appalling it was & the level of stigma which many healthcare professionals STILL feel. I have worked with NHS Practitioner Health for almost a decade. First as a clinical lead and now as a psychiatrist. A CQC-rated Outstanding service. We need to care for our NHS staff so they can care for their patients.
