Do you remember your first Lost Dock Rum?
Everyone has to start somewhere, so we want to know which bottle first introduced you to Lost Dock.
With Halloween approaching at the end of the month we thought we’d share one of our favourite docktail recipes this halloween.
The smoking poison apple…
- 50ml Lost Dock Spiced Rum
- 75ml clouded apple juice
- 15ml ginger syrup
- Fresh lemon
- Ice cubes or dry ice for a spooky effect
We know where we like to drink Lost Dock Rum, but we want to see where you’re enjoying yours.
At home, a get together, on holiday or somewhere completely unexpected, wherever your bottle of Lost Dock ends up, we want to see it.
You don’t need a long list of ingredients to make a great rum serve.
Lost Dock Spiced Rum, plenty of ice, ginger beer and a squeeze of fresh lime. Simple to make and even easier to enjoy.
Save this one for your next pour.
Rum isn’t just for the drinks menu. Pairing the right food with your favourite Lost Dock Rum can bring out completely different flavours in both.
Lost Dock Rum can be enjoyed anywhere, with anyone, but here are three of our favourite ways to enjoy it:
1. At home
2. With friends and family
3. Out and about
Whether you’re settling in for a relaxing night at home with your favourite serve, sharing a bottle with friends and family, or heading out to one of the many venues that stock Lost Dock Rum, make sure we’re part of the occasion.
A common misconception that we hear a lot is that the colour of the rum determines how strong the rum is.
It’s easy to assume that the darker the rum, the higher the alcohol content, but that isn’t necessarily true.
The colour of rum can be influenced by several factors, including time spent in wooden barrels and, in some cases, added caramel colouring. White rum can also be aged in barrels before being filtered to remove much of the colour.
