A lot of these Apollonians are really poorly read—simply larpers. It’s unfortunate that Spencer, who is clearly more intelligent than Mark and everyone that subscribes to his substack, has cultivated this kind of audience.
Friend of a friend is studying Christian theology for her masters at Oxford, but doesn’t speak or intend to learn latin. How that happen…
Colin would forgive all of these people that are ghoulishly celebrating his death, by the way. That’s the kind of man he was. He was worth more than all of these animals.

Please say a prayer for Colin’s family. He was a young man who loved this country and worked to improve it. Death is always difficult but far moreso when it’s someone so young.
God bless Colin and his family.
Our dear friend, Colin Sharpe, passed away in a tragic accident. He was a brilliant, kind, and courageous man who left an immense impact on our lives and many others.
We at BUCR extend our heartfelt condolences to Colin's family, friends, and all who knew him. Colin will be deeply missed by our organization and the wider communities of which he was part.
May he Rest in Peace.

I never got the chance to speak with him but I’ve heard from everyone who knew him that he was a bright and courageous young man. Such a terrible tragedy.

Heard about the tragic passing of long time mutual, a Jersey Boy, a frend of many and Vice President of BU College Republicans @ColinJSharpe.
Had the pleasure of meeting him a few weeks back in Boston when he invited Basil and I to speak at BU. The night before our talk we had a lovely time at Cheers and I got to live out my Norm Larp and have a mushroom swiss. While the lot of us were packed down there by the stairs I got to learn more about Colin and grew nothing but admiration for his intelligence, political savvy, ambition, quick wit... all at age 20. To say this is tragic is beyond an understatement. There are very few people in this world that "have it" or at-least "get it" and Colin was definitely one of them for sure.
A brilliant young man clearly building towards something great, who would've succeeded no doubt. Whatever it may have been. Rest in Peace...
And to the true ghouls, freaks and agents of the raped that are gloating and smirking over the death of this 20 year old man because he endorsed a candidate you don't like in a state that you don't even care about in the first place.... please Repent, if you actually believe the larp you put on. And I don't want to hear another Kirk Kvetch ever again

It's come to our attention that Collin Sharpe who graciously invited us to Boston to speak to their College Republicans chapter has passed away. A promising young life cut short in its prime. Our prayers are with his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

This is not what a stylist is. A stylist does not write “beautiful” phrases with “beautiful” words like “amber-and-rose crepuscules,” which I guess are individually beautiful words? Or beautiful things? But that is not what style is. The passages below are exemplary of style.
Vladimir Nabokov is undeniably the greatest stylist to have ever walked this planet.
Take this sentence from Pale Fire, for one:
"Would he ever come for me?" I used to wonder waiting and waiting, in certain amber-and-rose crepuscules, for a ping-pong friend, or for old John Shade.
How beautiful is "certain amber-and-rose crepuscules"?
I’m still learning how to write like that, but the more I read Nabokov, the more I’m inspired to challenge myself to seek beauty in every sentence I write—and to push the boundaries of the English language to create something extraordinary.
Countee Cullen was a remarkable poet, perhaps the greatest Black American poet. Langston Hughes’ work in verse, on the other hand, always seems lacking. Cullen was driven toward the divine, the transcendent, the universal. Hughes was limited by his own social consciousness.
A striking contrast on the streets of Paris: A couple sits sipping drinks at an outdoor café as flames burn just steps away.
The moment was captured Saturday near the Arc de Triomphe, on the outskirts of rioting that erupted during demonstrations over rising prices, inequality and public spending.
Video shows the pair continuing their conversation as a burning trash bin lights up the background.
Your universe has no meaning to them. They will not try to understand. They will be tired, they will be cold, they will make a fire with your beautiful StarLadder StarSeries trophy
Do Marxists really think liberalism is an idealist political philosophy? Liberalism is empiricist and tended towards dualism or materialism. Idealist philosophers were overwhelmingly monarchist or fascist.
I’ve yet to see this movie, but it is truly remarkable that much of the best art is gay and/or jewish. Waugh, Proust, Forster, Whitman, Melville, Hawthorne, Tennessee Williams, Kafka, Phillip Roth, Grossman, Zweig etc.
“La Bola Negra” director Javier Calvo says his film avoids overexplaining elements of queer culture (for instance, he uses the Grindr notification sound to first transport audiences to modern times):
“I don’t like movies that treat me like I’m dumb. The audience is smart enough. When I see ‘Chernobyl,’ I maybe don’t get some nuclear stuff, but I’m in it. In the gay world, no difference.”

It’s worth noting that many of the authors above would be horrified with modern gay culture and the liberation of sodomites at large. As @RichardBSpencer and @BasilianThought tend to say, sodomites should live on the margins, where they belong.

So if we don't support candidates who think American culture is mediocre and promote the H1B replacement of American workers we're traitors?
Also, "panican"?? Cut the LARP bro
