This is some of our Independent Film, unfunded. We could only do that because we do not tick any of the boxes that guarantee it.
We made these film, because we felt the need to explore subjects close to our heart, that we care about and go against the narrative.
I post religiously on @X but the algorithms ensure they are not seen.
I hope this reaches the right eyes that empathise with the issues raised and relate to unscripted, real stories.

Why can women request women only Uber drivers, and that's not sexist, but if a man wants a 50 yr old male pilot, that's sexist?

What Mugabe's children are doing is exactly what Mnangagwa's children are doing, it's just that Mnangagwa's children are still being protected by their father's power.

Women have mastered the art of rebranding certain behaviours with prettier labels.
Attention seeking = Knowing your worth
Entitlement = Having standards
Expecting a man to fund your lifestyle = Soft life
Avoiding accountability = Protecting my peace
Keeping backup options = Knowing my options
Disrespecting your partner = Being unapologetically independent
Constant validation seeking = Feminine energy
Unrealistic demands = Never settling for less
Not everything becomes empowerment just because you give it a sophisticated name. Sometimes it’s just the same old behaviour with a new PR strategy.

Bowie never dressed as a child. Judy was force fed uppers, downers, cigs & coffee.
Treating the concept of - childhood as a fluid artistic boundary or a corporate commodity undermines the fundamental safety and psychological development that minors require.

Matthew Perry had what most people spend their whole lives chasing. The hit show, the money, the house with the pool.
He says he loved it for about six months. Then one day he walked into that house and realized none of it had touched the problem he actually had.
The part that stays with me is the Craig Bierko story. Bierko turned down the role, watched Friends become a massive hit, and didn’t speak to Perry for two years. When he finally came over to apologize, Perry told him the truth at 24: it doesn’t do what we all thought it would do.
Bierko didn’t believe him. Almost nobody does when the warning comes from someone who already has the thing.
Success is great at fixing outside problems. It does very little for the inside ones, and it can make them harder to deal with, because now nobody thinks you’re allowed to struggle.
This is from November 2022, less than a year before he died. It lands much heavier now.

A divorce lawyer explaining love better than most therapists.
James Sexton’s point is that we’ve turned dating into a background check. Income, car, status. Meanwhile the couples on Love on the Spectrum are just asking “will you hold my hand?” and meaning it.
We’re created by two people connecting, and we spend our whole lives trying to get back to that.
“I like talking to you. It makes me happy.” That sentence will outlast any Valentine’s Day dinner.
Love was never about finding someone impressive. It’s about finding the one person who makes you feel less alone in the universe.

It’s considered offensive to ask about vaccine status now, in spite of being refused entry to many established for lack of it a short time ago . It was a badge of honor to boast of vaccination not so much now .

And of course, it’s caused by the Covid shot. And vaccines were mandated at her university. Even my six-year-old understood exactly what happened here, as I think most of us do. So grateful I didn’t fall for the shots, which are gonna kill millions more soon.

Ellen DeGeneres went on Instagram in tears over the death of her longtime producer, Matthew Wright, who worked with her for 16 years. His family had to set up a $50,000 GoFundMe to cover funeral expenses, and Ellen reportedly donated $5,000.
This is a woman worth hundreds of millions of dollars. I'm not questioning her grief, but I am questioning why someone with that kind of wealth wouldn't simply offer to cover the funeral expenses and spare his grieving family the burden of asking strangers for help.
When do these people ever have ENOUGH money? Who would want a friend like her in their life?
