I just don't understand how this is OK with our government.
What hold do these people have over our government?
It's very worrying.
This illustrates so much of what is wrong in our world today - corporate bosses & shareholders making huge profits at the expense of healthy rivers & people's health. We urgently need radical change, to replace our present day insane capitalist system.

Water companies took out money they were obliged to spend on investment and rather than repay it, they want the billpayer to pay again and our government is supporting this double scam. Why?

Well done @Riverford getting this debated in parliament. I don't hate much but I do hate supermarkets and what they stand for with a vengence. I cheer when I find something I can buy somewhere other than in a supermarket.

Becoming more aware of our immediate quick unconscious reactions to something someone says is an opportunity to be honest with ourselves ..when we are ready to hear this nugget of truth.
You can’t do anything
to change another person's action,
but you can change your reaction to it.
In every argument, misunderstanding
or disagreement, ask yourself:
What am I adding to the situation?
Love or guilt?
Calmness or anger?
Clarity or confusion?

As our homes become a mini temple we breathe a sigh of relief and leave behind the demands of life. We put down our burdens outside the door of our temple and enter allowing ourselves to be rested and nurtured. Giving ourselves permission. Bring a in little gift from nature.
Today is an auspicious day to establish a temple of truth in each of our homes. A life in which divinity and values are ingrained in every aspect is what it means to build a temple of truth. A life of simplicity, harmony in relationships, love for all people. #brahmakumaris
