This is the destruction in #TelegraphCove after this morning's fire. Credit to Matt Oakheart for the video. He says the Whale Interpretive Centre Prince of Whales, Tide Rip and Killer Whale cafe are all gone. Firefighters from as far as #AlertBay responded. More @CHEK_News

#yyjtraffic | Admirals Road from Esquimalt Road to Woodway Road has been closed due to a hit gas line. Officers are on scene assisting with traffic control & the closure is expected to last for the remainder of the day. Thank you for your patience.

The classic Canadian Heritage Moments are delightfully cheesy, but I love some of the newer ones too. Tom Longboat and the Vancouver Asahi both hit really hard.
Now that I'm 40, I'm making much more mature decisions. Like keeping my leftover birthday cupcake intake to a mere 2 a day.
Is feeling very loved and appreciated on my 40th birthday today. Kyla put together an amazing presentation of pictures and video messages from friends and family. Overwhelmed with gratitude.
