I ended up taking this 4k offer on a ,com in the end based on a few things: - I have lost a bunch of negotiations in the last few months by rejecting and holding for 8-10k (for my quality of names it seems tough to get above 5k) - they started at 700 and have increased a fair amount to 4k - it’s net and they pay broker fees - based in research there’s only really one clear end user, and they’re not large / have fairly low value sale values - the name was bought in the last 12 months for $140

I liquidated c35k in 24 hours from my portfolio (awaiting some more funds to get this up to the 35k). I can’t share all the names as they are other investors but here are the lessons I’m sharing: ⭐️ great names sell quickly. It’s obvious, but one good name can be moved the same day… 10 average names will take time (if at all) ⭐️ there is margin to be had on quick flips, but it’s tight and getting tighter ⭐️ confidence inspiring for me considering who bought some of the names. That tells me I’m okay at buying the right kind of names ⭐️ I have average to good inventory only, so many of my names struggle to sell (for what I paid). Pay more attention on the buy ⭐️ one word sld stand out / most liquid ⭐️ com ai and org work best (.id .gg .co only if very strong) ⭐️ having connections on X is helpful to move names, but broker connections move in bulk ⭐️ Atom is the best place to move and get paid currently due to wholesale market, atom pay and ease of use

I have a ____Health.com name, currently unlisted on afternic (due to changing my names around). GD broker contains me with a $750 offer, which I reject explaining the name is priced higher but serious offers welcome, etc. They responded with the below, citing the domain 'appraised value'. Strange response, considering a few companies operate on this brand in health space, including a good sized US health business operating on the .org...

It is significantly more difficult to replace good names than it was even 2 years ago (for near the same budget). Significantly. Auctions or wholesale connections. In a traditional model this can only mean retail prices you’re charging must increase to flow through to related purchasing power

As others much wiser than me said, the common word in all this is Intelligence… Super Quantum Meta Artificial etc etc … the deliverable / benefit / solution / advantage is the intelligence. That’s the long play
