Just sold 51ship.com for $10,000. Bought it in 2006 for $60 at an uncontested SnapNames auction. The name works well in Chinese: 51 (wǔ yāo) sounds like 我要 (wǒ yào), meaning “I want.” So 51ship naturally reads as “I want to ship.”

Another day, another agent. To save you a click: Duet.com doesn't redirect to x.ai/bot. It goes to SAP.com.
We’re opening a research preview of Claude Duet, a new app where Claude works as a proactive agent. It comes to you with what needs your attention, completes tasks you ask of it, keeps working when you step away, and checks with you before it acts on your behalf.

Heads up: starting November 1st, X will use your X Money activity to personalize ads. Mine was on by default until I turned it off. To opt out, go to Money Settings → Security & Privacy and uncheck "Share activity with X."

According to a private channel, 365.com was sold for ¥100 million RMB (about $15 million USD) a couple of months ago. It was previously owned by OG Chinese domain investor Mr. Lin.
Word came to us through a private channel: the three-digit domain 365.com was sold back in August this year for RMB 100 million. Is this the all-time high for a 3-number domain sale? It also sets a new record for the largest amount ever cashed out by a Chinese domain investor. #DomainBase #Domains

FSD drives you safely. Roadster thrills you. Tesla delivers both.
The thing I’m most grateful to Elon for is bringing back an age of wonder and excitement to humanity. That was jaw-dropping awesome! Screams and mouths wide open in the audience. Nuts.

At DC Fintech Week at Amazon HQ2, Visa said agentic payments need two things: infrastructure and trust. Consumers need to trust the agent follows instructions and stays within limits. Merchants need to trust it's authorized. Both need proof of who authorized what. Your card number alone can't tell Visa whether you or your agent bought something. Visa's fix: tokens with built-in authentication and spending controls. Cloudflare's job: tell agents from humans before they reach the merchant. Human or agent → Cloudflare → Merchant → Visa → Issuing bank As a $NET holder, it's great to hear Cloudflare get named at a fintech conference it wasn't even part of.

FSD spotted a squirrel 🐿️ before I did. It slowed from 27 to 24 mph, held its lane, and the squirrel made it across safely. Zero interventions.

Agentic payments were a hot topic at this morning's DC Fintech Week event. Many stablecoin companies and traditional financial institutions are actively working in this area.

Paul Graham just found out what a lot of early FSD supporters still don't know: it got dramatically better this year. Last weekend I told a Model Y owner about my drives. He'd tried FSD when he bought the car two years ago. His eyes lit up, and he said he's definitely giving it another shot.
The Tesla Model 3 with FSD is mind-blowing. Jessica and I drove to the gym without touching the controls once. It backed out of our driveway, drove there, and backed into a parking space. It's amazing that you can buy so much future for $40k.
